I think he means that they all raise your OBP by one "hit" against one at-bat.
he might have said the smartest thing I've read from him in ever. OBP is much more important and a batter statistic than batting average. I can see where he is comin from with this and it makes a lot of sense b/c as he says, gettin on base is what's important in baseball, no matter how you do it (walk, single, double, triple, homerun). |

guessin what Haterz meant to say is always a chore.
but what exactly do you mean when you say that gettin on base is clearly not the only thing that matters in scoring runs? You can't score runs with no one on base, with the exception of a homerun. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant. |
