Imported the 1983 season and infielder Rafael Santana (https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=santan002raf) imports with his proper Major League stats, but his real minor league stats are that of a different Rafael Santana (https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=santan003raf)

Same mismatch of minor league ID for Jeff Doyle as well (https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=doyle-001jef) his links to a different Jeff Doyle (https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=doyle-002jef)

Hmm, I don't know what's going on here. Both Santana and Doyle are linked correctly in the db when I check.

It may be that they were incorrectly linked in an old version of the db and that's already been fixed up. If so, this should be correct in the next patch. If you still see it then, let me know and I'll dig deeper.

I imported historical players and when I search them, they show, but they are not added into the free agent list, or the inaugural draft list and have no way of being drafted.

Interestingly enough (at least to me), when I import 1982, when both are in the minor leagues all season, they import correctly.

Playing historical these lowest Levels have been an issue for some time and each time one has to edit everything at the start of the years.

Guess one could perhaps have dreams that you fix that A level issue. We do have A+ and A, which in historical is not the same level and but both leagues a just level A in this game.
The Level A- is BC leagues as all the lowest levels

Not really correct. Nice if you could make a correct setup of these lower levels.

Please specifically describe which players you are importing and exactly what steps you are taking when importing them, which options you select etc.

1. I go to the ALL FREE AGENTS page
2. Gray button on top right "Actions" , Then "Import Historical Player(s)"
3. A pop up comes up to select the database and I select "historical_database.odb", then "confirm"

After this, The player shows in a search (typed into the magnifying glass window) It shows him under "Database Info" Header and says under "team" "No Team (Draft Eligible), but he is not in the free agent section, OR the draft pool and if you start the draft, there's no way to draft him. I tried this with numerous players and all with the same result

Red Wright has a historical minors ID that points to wright001jos, which is another player (https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=wright001jos)

His ID should be wright000red (https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...d=wright000red)

Somehow the 1902 cubs & 1902 white sox imported merged. i only imported the White Sox. i have about 12 Cubs players and 13 White sox for 1902.

Do they import correctly if you just start a regular historical season in 1902?

I havent tried that. i imported evey White Sox team 1901-2020. When i went through the players i noticed i had about 20 career Cubs in there mostly from the 1902 Cubs. i was missing about 15 1902 White Sox.

The player shown as Clarence White (https://www.seamheads.com/NegroLgs/p...rID=white01cla) has the minors ID of a 1994 player (white-004cla).

Also, according to Seamheads his birthdate is wrong. Should be 1901 instead of 1906.

I'm not sure if it applies to other leagues, but Buddy Myer's birthplace is listed as Ellisville, MO instead of his actual birthplace of Ellisville, MS.

You most likely just need to sim ahead to whenever the draft pool is revealed, and he should show up in the pool then.
