Today, the 5-year, $3.25 million contract Hunter signed, even with the $1 million dollar signing bonus he was given, would be considered a pittance in MLB. However, way back in the bell-bottom-wearing, Hustle-dancing, Bachman-Turner-Overdrive-listening, post-Vietnam/Watergate-weary America of early-1975, it seemed like 500 king's ransoms multiplied by a million. Bang on midnight EST, and I wanted to get this in because I'm off to a baseball tournament for the next three days.
This man, along with his brother, holds the record for most MLB home runs hit by a pair of siblings:  Answer: That is Tommie Aaron. He and his brother combined for 768 home runs in the major leagues, the largest combined total by a pair of brothers. Hank, of course, hit 755 while Tommie chipped in for 13
