Opening Day did not go Toronto's way as the home town fans watched the Blue Jays lose 9-3 to the Tigers.

Bobby Bradley hit the first homer of the season for the Jays.

Justin De Fratus left the game with pain in his elbow. His prognosis was not known.

What is worse that in the 9th inning of a lost game, back up catcher Taylor Davis hurt his knee and had to leave the game. We await word.

Bobby Bradley went 2 for 4 with a home run and drove in 4 as the Jays beat the Red Sox, 7-2.

The real story was Michael Brantley being hit by two pitches. The second one was in the head and while we think he is okay, he removed from the game for precautionary reasons. With an off-day tomorrow, we are not overly concerned.

Robert Molina also homered for Toronto.
