35k from acheivements in one season? Is that possible? I thought 15-20k was a soft cap if you had like 3 hi def innings, a perfect game, 6 all stars, and 3 category leaders?

Not even close to the cap. Someone winning 123 games probably has 15K in "poundings" alone

Wow. With a full-on PP generating team using the PP generation tips on the forum the most I've gotten is 14k in iron with a 100+ win team and I got lucky with 3 Hi-Def innings that season which generated half my total PP... I generate a ton more pp with prospecting so my pp gen is fine, but it would be nice to have a good PP gen season without all the AH work. *shrugs* Oh well. I suppose it's finally time to quit the game for me. *sigh* Thanks for the help and encouragement everyone. It is much appreciated. I'll be sticking to the offline game from now on except for the OL league. Good luck in your endeavors, and have fun! ![]() To the OP: I'm glad your issue finally turned itself around

My Raccoons won their 1st perfect title and won 120 games during the regular season. We made 21k PP, but only 1200 PP from big scoring games (we were 3rd in R). Our biggest achievements for the season were worth only 1k PP. Teams that win a lot, get LOTS of smaller achievements on a consistent basis that really add up so even without any of the big achievements, the top teams will rake in the points. So yeah, 15-20k PP can be topped by quite a bit if you get some of those larger achievements.

Offense is king when it comes to PP generation. At perfect it's a lot less likely to happen but you will have several 25+ run games during the season at low levels against abandoned teams if you are in the 120+ win bracket. And like you said all the small 20-80 point ones every game add up.

I counted the actual pp earned in last season, in total 33105 pp
a gold achievement, 24 win streaks, from bob gibson for 7000 pp ![]()

And people got mad at me for lamenting a freak Diamond WS victory from my 80+ win WC team that was not nearly ready for Perfect... Getting promoted actually slowed my progression. Staying in lower leagues is a beneficial goal to set, especially for F2P teams with no additional means of earning cards.
The focus of this thread is on the playoffs, but I feel that league placement is related to it. For example, I recently saw that 2 of my teams had very different experiences. 1 went 80-82 while the other went 87-75. The sub-.500 team made the playoffs by winning the division. The 87-75 team not only missed the playoffs, they finished 5th place (aka LAST) in their division.

Off topic... My Raccoons played a team (the Bombers) last season in the divisional round and barely won it 3-2. That team also had an 80-82 record. Just curious, but was that your team?

To tangent this conversation further, I've been going back and forth on the themes for this team, but I think this was soon after switching to my "Colors of the Wind" theme (hopefully a mission eventually ) where every player has a first or last name that is a color or has a color in it. Or in the case of players named Blondy, Sandy, or Jermaine Dye, something color related is close enough.
