OOTP Administrators: Is Website Having Problems? - Page 3

Totally shutdown last night at 10:40 pm Central... I checked several times and finally went to bed at 11:30 pm.

This might be the time that OOTP does its weekly maintenance shutdown... or it could be a website problem.

All other websites that I tried to access worked fine last night during this period 10:40 to 11:30 pm.

I was on the Graphics Forum uploading jerseys when it would not change screens... couldn't navigate at all.

I exited... and then tried to go back to the OOTP Graphics Forum... it didn't connect.

A message popped up on the screen:

Error 504
CDN Server hasn't received a timely response form the origin server.

Apparently the CDS Server didn't get a response from the origin server.
Don't have any idea of what this means... if OOTP is the origin server, it wasn't responding.

I often see that "OOTP is not responding" when I am having this problem

It is happening almost daily.

Hey, guys... I don't want to be a pest.

Andreas, Matt Arnold, Lukas Berger... please someone tell me what's going on with OOTP's Forums.

If the problem is not OOTP, please let me know and I will stopping posting this problem.

A brief reply would be nice.

If nobody from OOTP replies, this is my final post on the subject.

Don't want to waste my time or theirs any longer.

past 10 mins couldn't get to these pages at all (7:50am - 8:00am Pacific time)

then suddenly worked again, like a charm. very weird. very on going and VERY RANDOM.

Eugene, you ain't da only one having issues with this!!!!

I lost contact at 9:52 am Central Time... now it's back at 10:16 am Central Time.

It's a little slow at times, but seems to be OK at 10:30 am Central.

Forums are navigating very well today.

Later I will be posting graphics and will see if this is the problem with the slow processing and hang ups.

You are not the only one Eugene. It's been pretty spotty here in the Eastern Time Zone as well.

couldn't get in for 20 mins today- between 3:50pm and 4:10pm pacific time ..... getting more regular these dead zone times ....

I had an issue about the same time as this. I'm in the Eastern Time Zone so it was about 7pm for me.

Took a good five seconds or more for the forum to load on my visit just now.

ETA: Just hit a ten to fifteen second wait switching between forum subsections.

Yeah, it's been acting up a little on me, too.

About 10:23 am Central time this morning, the first time I tried to get on the Forum, it just sat there and did nothing... waited about a minute and then closed it out.

Tried 30 minutes later and it worked, but was a bit slow and sluggish.

This afternoon it seems to be fine.

I've been coming to the OOTP Forums for over 15 years and have never had it process poorly like it has for the past few years.
