I immediately turned to my wife and said "Tanaka is Japanese, not Chinese, and I think Darling is actually partly Chinese, but some people are going to scream racism. You wait". I wasn't disappointed. Rons apology speaks very loudly to two things. First of all, his character, and second of all, to the social climate we now live in. Kudos to the former, and to the latter, well, it's ridiculous.
