Called up from AAA: Dave Stieb, Domingo Bruno, Pepe Romero Sent down: Rade Grol, Tom Niedenfuer DFA: Jim Dwyer, Gary Ward The Jays were weak at CF with Desiderio Holbeche and amply stocked at C with Lance Parrish as back-up and Domingo Bruno earning a call-up. Stew Cliburn is closing while Niedenfuer works out the kinks. Dave Stewart has moved to the pen to make room for Stieb... while we await word on the status of Jim Beattie.
