TRADE

To BREWERS

Gustavo Pena
Joel Ayers

To BLUE JAYS

Dan Gladden
Ralph Chapman
Walton Crawford
Jeffery Lugo

Gladden joins the Jays

Robin Yount is activated from the D.L.

Called up from AAA: Dave Stieb, Domingo Bruno, Pepe Romero

Sent down: Rade Grol, Tom Niedenfuer

DFA: Jim Dwyer, Gary Ward

The Jays were weak at CF with Desiderio Holbeche and amply stocked at C with Lance Parrish as back-up and Domingo Bruno earning a call-up.

Stew Cliburn is closing while Niedenfuer works out the kinks. Dave Stewart has moved to the pen to make room for Stieb... while we await word on the status of Jim Beattie.

He goes to to the D.L.
