Fighter Updates Moved

I discovered after running the update on my 2.5 universe that I wound up with a dozen strawweights who have no name listed. Anyone else notice this? They show up at the top when I have the fighters sorted alphabetically.

Please fix these issues Paul. We really want this to work correctly. Can't all these issues with updating fighters just get fixed... for 2.5 and 2013?

The left is the old and the right is the new. So reading left to right you see what it changed from, and what it changed too. I will add a title to clarify the matter.

Paul, have there been any database updates in the last few weeks? Reason I ask is when I hit the Update tab, the last few times there were no new updates.

It looks like there have been quite a few database updates in the last few weeks. You can see this if you go to:

Title Bout Championship Boxing Data

It's probably not working correctly. It's a common theme. (I'm sorry for being negative, but this place seems to do that to me anymore.)

Thanks Mark - yeah sure looks like it. Not sure what happened, nothing changed on my computer & I had no problems getting updates a couple months ago.

Did you make the setting change from the first post in the thread?

It seems that not all the ratings get changed in the update. For example Jorle Estrada had this update on Tuesday:


rating_records: Jorle Estrada
OldNew <cfs>6</cfs> | <cfs>5</cfs> <kdr2>3</kdr2> | <kdr2>4</kdr2> <tko>3</tko> | <tko>4</tko> <cuts>2</cuts> | <cuts>3</cuts> <cu>1</cu> | <cu>0</cu>

After doing the update his CFS stayed at 6, it did not change to 5. I've noticed this on other fighters too where the control factors don't adjust after the update.

No, not yet but I'll do that. Reason I waited was I did get some bio updates not too long ago & figured maybe there had not been any DB updates.

I have been looking into this, my results are:

* TB2015 - updated fine
* TB2013 - update failed until I did "Update All" in options dialog
* TB2.5 - updated fine

I think you could be having the same issue as my TB2013 where the timestamps used to check for new data are out of sync. If your on TB2013 use the "update all" option, if you are on TB2.5 clear the timestamps as explained here:

I made the setting change & now I got fighters again but I had to manually make changes to guys like Ward & DeGale. I'll do another update this weekend to check again.
