It's almost March -- guess the release date! - Page 3

Well, my birthday is march 26th, and video games always come out within a few days of that. I know that because I always get my birthday present a few days before or after my birthday, often the 25th or 27th.

So. Based on that, and the information Marcus has given, I will guess the game is coming out the 30th, which means we get early release on 27th. Which means I get the game the day after my birthday, which sounds about right.

Marcus mentioned in another thread that he had five weeks to work on something until release. That was on February 14. That puts release on March 20/23. That's my logic.

I am going to agree with you. It will give Larry Lucchino time to run the Red Sox season about 60 times to see what he needs to pick up before the season starts like say Cole Hammels?

Markus said it would be late March and as the pre-orders end March 15, it's going to be 20-31. I say March 24 or 27 for pre-orders (ME!!!) and then March 27 or March 30 for non pre-orders (Noobs :P)

If it were someone other than OOTP developing it, I would say April 3/6, because for most companies that is the earliest they mean when they say a March release...

However, with OOTP, they are a cut above the rest. I am going with the most literal interpretation of the statement by Markus, and saying it will be March 20/23, since precisely two people said that prior to his comment.

Te 26th makes sense, because that's the day that Pillars of Eternity releases, and both that and OOTP releasing on the same day would likely ruin my entire life.

Lol. Having worked at a few places, that's very accurate. Or alternately, the game gets released March 31 at 11:59 PM, even if it crashes for everyone, just to meet the deadline.
