Tigers put Verlander on the DL today. He won't be making his start Sunday. Should give him more free time so him and his annoying girlfriend can act out more movie scenes. Ugh!

13 innings down, 11-0 on aggregate for the Tigers, and the Twins have like six singles.

Either the Tigers are the best team, or the Twins are the worst team. At least one of these has to be true.

I watched the game today, and I'm not sure whether I saw the worst pitching of my life by the Twins, or some really good offence by the Tigers. ¬_¬

In some ways it was worse than the Marlins yesterday, because although they've now failed to score with the bases loaded and no outs in two consecutive games, at least they can blame their loss on one guy's complete meltdown. The Twins just completely stank up the joint after the second inning.

Yeah, as a guy who's been a reliever most of his career he could be an interesting number 5 guy. I'd be surprised if he lasts the year as a starter. Once he struggles a few times and if a younger guy is doing well I think they'll bring the younger guy up.

Ehhh, not exactly the start I would have hoped for for the Tribe. I have no idea why McAllister started the fifth inning, other than to help my fantasy team (I have Castellanos

). He clearly wasn't fooling the Tigers. And our bullpen acted more like your bullpen.

Very much looking forward to watch Klubot v. Price today. Must see baseball.
