Also, I am using purple as the color for my first set of 50.. so you guys can use a different color. Also, it's not in that picture, but I am normally using a very light color of purple as the backdrop.

I don't think they'd mind, Sixto. This is absolutely NOTHING compared to what an experienced 3-D game animater can do with the FaceGen program. All we're doing is crude 2-D stuff. Very insignificant in their eyes. We're not even scratching the surface of what can be done with the FaceGen program, and even more with the purchased one. But, it's good enough for us.

I will focus on making a team of 50 players in a red and white Phillies type uniform.

If we can get 15-20 of us to each do 50 - 100 players we can have a pretty good sized set.

lighting

Frontal lighting shows the face most clearly, but the off-center lighting brings out more personality.

Trying to give them some personality and uniqueness. Hopefully these aren't too much of a caricture. Btw, nice job on yours JWay.

the right one is okay, the left one could been toned down a bit, or given fuller cheeks...

I'd agree with JWay. The one on the left looks like he belongs on a Star Trek episode. Heck I'm gonna give this a try tomorrow too. See if I have any artistic talent at all.

carictures

Faces with exaggerated features have more automatic personality. It’s possible to make good ones, but it takes some practice.
