Thanks to tech support for getting in touch and sorting this, first time I've had issues with this across the past 3 or 4 versions.

Me too, last 2-3 versions never had a problem, didn't get the email this time. Emailed in already now, so hopefully, soon.

If you just purchased the game, then it won't be avaliable until Monday. Unless something changed.

I am in the same boat. I ordered about six hours too late on Friday morning. I kept putting it off and putting it off and got bite this year.

and it says ATTENTION, Pre-order! You will receive your license if you order now. The game will be released on April 15th, 2013.

or does this just mean, attention you will have a license number to look at for 2 days

The replies on the first page were from people who ordered before the deadline on Thursday night.

I agree that it needs to be on the order page though. But it does look like it is Monday for us who were a little too late.
Not a huge deal. Monday is less than 24 hours away and I have a massive backlog of games I need to get through.

I don't work for OOTPD or have anything to do with the game. But I do apologize about the misunderstanding and being the bearer of bad news.

However, we don't have too much longer to wait.

Pre-Order's were not done that way. Markus said in OP they would be "Later today (no time set yet, but probably around noon ET)" for pre-orders last friday, but I actually got mine around 8:30am!

One can only assume they same will be done for release on monday.

They'll be fixing every bug/issue they can before the Monday release, and even just compiling the roster set from the online database take quite a bit of time (even after importing, a lot of things need to be fixed up manually). So while I really have no idea what schedule they're on for tomorrow, I bet you won't get something at 12:01 am, and in the long run, you'll probably be happier if they take the time to make sure everything's done right.
