Could you possibly do the American League and National League logos as well? I know they only show up on the All-Star Game, but would still be cool to have. Thanks and amazing job.

I had it all done and even posted but then realized that they are now the Carolina Mudcats. CC's site has Kinston and Wiki has Carolina. Wiki says they moved after 2011 ... anyway, here ya go.

Now that I'm mostly done, I'm starting a semi-historical league and simming to current times. While that takes it time, I'll see if I can do a few of the more well known historical logos.

These are gorgeous. I just purchased ootp13 today. Cant wait to try them!

They really look sharp with the dark blue skin.

I made a couple of changes to color schemes, but more out of person preference than anything.

I had to make a few changes with naming.. but it could just be my league. I have them all installed and I'm very happy.

The drop shadow makes them look like they are 3D, very cool. Thanks again for your time and contribution to this excellent game!

added a new Chicago White Sox logo .... the main one doesn't look to good scaled down on the dark theme ... just giving another option for those who want it.

I only care about the team pages - so the only ones I changed were Colorado and Milwaukee to the alternate ones you posted.

Splendid work. What kind of process are you using? (Photoshop or some other program, etc.) And what's your source of the original logos?

I've just begun preparing a massive quick-start for 1986 and have noticed that despite the great work by so many OOTPers (like you in this thread) that seems to be an era that is lacking in the way of add-on logos and uniforms. They may exist and I haven't located them, but I don't see period-accurate logos for clubs like the Memphis Chicks, Batavia Trojans, Appleton Foxes and many others.

Some of the franchises from the 1980s still exist with the same name, but usually the logo has been modernized (typically more than once) and I'd rather have the historically accurate version for this historical quick-star, especially because I intend for the lineups all the way down to the low minors to have their actual original players, not fictional fillers.

Thanks for any advice you can offer on doing this right!

i did the best i can to discuss how i did these in my old thread here. I use GIMP and grab my icons mostly from wikipedia or chris creamer's logo site.

This thread is also a great reference for logos too.

Of course, part of the problem is that 1980s logos are pre-Interwebz. So if the team didn't keep the same name into the mid-1990s or so, the logos tend to be seen only in tiny formats, GIFs, appearing on the front of a baseball card, etc. ... The Charlotte O's is a good example. So I've been trying to replicate the font in Photoshop and such. But, ooh, I just found a larger-than-normal scan of a Charlotte O's baseball card and maybe can steal from that.

eh, here's the twins "TC" plus a couple of other old logos
