I personally could do without the ethnic jokes and sarcasm. Can we stick to discussing just Baseball and OOTP? After all, there is a section for off-topic discussion and comments.

I just want to take a second and publicly apologize to everyone, including Markus for my comments.

It was truly not my intention to offend anyone, or make light of such a terrible event, and it appears I have. I do not find the holocaust, etc. a joke by any means.

I understand all your points and personally am not offended by ethnic/racial jokes aimed in my direction, which does not make my comment acceptable.

Once again, I am sorry and will definitely use better judgment in the future, it was a quick off the cuff "joke" that I honestly didn't think about, which isn't my typical M.O. and I am completely embarrassed by this, so I guess it is well deserved and the joke is on me.

I will keep my future correspondence to OOTP. Time to crawl back under my rock.

As do I. Go to Europe and the locals will associate Americans with apple pie. Like we do with France and baguettes. Nothing wrong with it but I'm sure there are some stereotypical American Americans out in these boards.
