There's about 250 to 300 or more non drafted free agents eligible and all the actual signed 2011 picks. Had to be at the very least 1000 of them, so I would say safe prolly between 1100 to 1300. I didn't do a final count.

Thanks Howard, great job! (Howard leads our roster team, so he's the one to say 'thanks' to if you like the rosters)

Praise the OOTP Gods. Or whatever. It had been an issue. Now it's not.

i understand that. it would just be nice for an immersion standpoint to somehow fix these. even if i had to do it manually, either through an in-game editor, or being able to re-import the world.dat after exporting it.

I'll test a few more out see what happens, but hopefully the world editor or whatever you want to call it can fix this for good as it seems like it's just to hard to find.
i didnt re-import, i just wanted to say that my world is still goofy. it may have been fixed on a fresh import though?

EDIT:

i figured as much, but being i think 5 seasons into 12, not really an option. but i am glad to hear there are plans to be able to manually edit them. will we be able to add more locations to the world? or will it just be a name editor?

Hi Guys..

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for all the continual hard work on this program.. I don't play as much as I used to.. but of all the games I've ever played in my life.. I have never seen a company go to the lengths to improve their product and give their customers what they want the best way they can that you folks do. I've had a lot of versions of this game.. and was one of those folks who didn't think the game would be right for awhile after ootp6. But boy was I wrong. As long as I can afford it.. I will always be a yearly customer of this fine product.. Unfortunately, you don't see this kind of dedication to a product often anymore.. So thank you to Marcus, Andreas, and all the beta testers who make this fine game possible.. Hey, time to do my expansion draft now.. Have a great day folks

It was long, hard work, but it was quite fun being able to draft real players. I just wish we could have set the draft up like it was IRL because I would definitely have taken the Rays and their 12 picks in the first 2 rounds.

BTW, everyone. BigRod and I have been collecting photos for all the minor leaguers and we got a decent number of the draft pick images as well. I would say about 95% of the players in the set have photos. Where can I upload such a large file?

Question about "Meet Demand"...

If I click the Meet Demand button, does that submit the offer at the same time now? It used to just populate the fields and then I'd have to hit Submit.

You couldn't make this a 2B/3B/ISTPHR rating?!

Seriously, though, that is one possible solution to the inside the park homer issue. OOTP still has the problem that someone playing in a deadball park with 500 ft fences, who historically had 11 homers and 10 of them inside the park, will still see play-by-play in game that shows him hitting 11 525-ft homers.

Almost definitely, you still have to hit "submit"
This allows you to meet the demand and then make adjustments to the offer.

That's not how Markus stated it, though. His statement reads like it automatically submits:

Okay, so that's exactly how it works. Clicking "Meet Demand" automatically submits the offer, but it's not a problem because the player's demand is already populated when you go to the extension screen. Coolio!

I agree with you 100%, Mochuck! The customer support for OOTP is the best in the business, I feel. I have been waiting for months for one simple patch to fix a DL bug in Diamond Mind Baseball and it hasn't even been given an approximate release date yet. Meanwhile, you boys here at OOTP have given us 4 great updates that have added plenty of new features and fixed many bugs to boot! Anyone who plays DMB (which isn't many anymore!) is still waiting for one simple bug to be fixed, and that game came out in April! Kudos to Markus, Andreas, and everyone else who helps out with the development of the best sim game on the market! Thank you for all you do! You have won over a customer for life!

Stacy
