This was tough. I'm apparently not a big fan of middle infielders because I couldn't really think of favorites, and I'm a huge fan of starting pitchers because I had an impossible time narrowing it down to 5 (and I ended up cheating to have 7).

Limiting to players I saw and guys a developed I liked for various reasons:
Missing the cut A. J. as backup catcher, Enos Slaughter as PH, Floyd Robinson OF, Pete Ward & Ernie Banks as utilitymen, and Gordie Coleman 1B. When Big Klu went to the Angels they became my second favorite team and I followed them til Gene Autry died. Minoso and Fisk are my all time faves. Thomas is the only hitter is a Sox Uniform whose ABs got me to stop what I was doing and watch. Aaron is the "best player I ever saw."
My rationale for making this claim is that I never saw anyone else make the game seem so effortless.

I've only been a baseball fan for a couple of years and I just don't really like to learn about the history. It's a cool thing to look back at, but I don't really want to spend a bunch of time studying all of these players. I usually tend to take a liking to young, talented players (or Pujols, because of his coming out of nowhere to dominate right away, Swish and Edmonds because I just like 'em, and Cobb because of the story about him deciding to play like Babe Ruth for a day). My favorite current player is Ryan Braun, with Tulo a close second; Cobb is my favorite player of all time, but one of only a handful of old timers that I have taken a liking to.

When I was a kid, it was a lot easier to find out about baseball history. There were 50 less years of it. Grew up watching baseball, boxing, football and hockey with my dad going back to when I was 7 and 8. Dad was a story teller. He'd tell yarn after yarn about old timers and current players. He read the sporting news like it was scripture and shared insights and news of prospects with me.

Coach I like your team minus your Catchers. I think u picked 2 of the top 5 worst backup C that cubs have ever had would your 3rd guy be Sandy Martinez?

I wanted Grace on my team if I played with a DH. I added Doug Dascenzo but Bo Jackson should have made my team since I have no power on my bench. and u might have a better pen then mine.

Stevey I actually had to look up George Scott, nice player sounds very underrated. If I can get say maybe 3 more AL teams and 4 more NL teams me as the ChiSox and your team as the BoSox its gonna be a heck of an ALCS
Saw both Pierce & Pizzaro pitch. Pierce was better but I picked Pizzaro for my squad. One day when I was at the park early to take in BP and player work outs. Juan was doing wind sprints in center field. One of his team mates yelled out "Juan, they want you up in the press box." The distance from Juan's location on the field to the press box was slightly under two parsecs. Juan's reaction cemented me as a Pizarro fan for life. He heaved his mitt about fifty feet in the air and yelled "Oh, ****." loud enough to be heard in Gary, Indiana. It was such a natural reaction. He found a place in my heart that day.

This one got censored. He used a four letter word that begins with an S.

My dad died in March of '86. Since I grew up hearing his historical yarns I'm gonna indulge in some nostalgia and select the team I think he'd have picked.

I never can make it through Spring Training without thoughts about my dad and all of those tales he shared with me.

Edgar was a 3B. Great team! I'd have left off Beltre for Alvin Davis.

Ok i have 21 teams, so i either need 1 more or I will elimante Omniarts team.

the ATPL will be 2 subleagues 4 divisions total. Arbitration w/o FA

Here are the team names & stadiums i will use while i add everyones players.

If u want a different name let me know in here.
Me - Chicago White Sox US Cellular field - might switch to chicago fire & WGN Field

Stevebydac - Boston Red Sox - fenway

Mr Coach00 Chicago Cubs - wrigley

David Watts - Detroit Tigers - Tiger Stadium

Hfield - NY Yankees - New Yankee Stadium

G&G Heart - Oakland A's - Oakland Coliseum

The Professor - St Louis Cardinals - New Busch

DamienTheOmen3 - Milwaukee Brewers might use County but most likely Miller

Ziggypop - Houston Astros - astrodome

Conn Chris - Detroit Pistons - Comerica

Jway - Seattle Mariners - SAFECO

Myasu - Tokyo Giants- a dome of some kind dont know if anyone made Tokyo dome

TribeFan INC - Cleveland Indians - The Jake

UKHot Stove - Pittsburgh Pirates PNC

Junior19 - Chicago Blackhawks - just cuz i want to use Gerns 4 hawks jerseys stadium? most likely Budweiser Field from HH2k3

Mirrf - Atlanta Braves Turner

ActionJackson - Toronto Blue Jays - Skydome

Omniart will be left out currently otherwse his team is Stl Browns and Sportsman

Captain Walrus - LA dodgers - Jackie Robinson Field from HH2k3 (Jacobs)

Bear - Chicago Fire - WGN Field (Baker Bowl)

AESP Pres - Montreal Expos - Olympic

Should take me 3-4 days to input these and i will Quickstart it for whomever wants it.

All teams will have the players u listed if u dont have 25 u dont get 25 unless u add to it..would prefer 28 total for injuries. everything is set to 2000, so for those who have agreat 4 man rotation i dont know how the aI will deal with it if i set your team up with a 4 man. Also i am adding myself to my team and i will be owner (we all will be) GM MGR and SP. if u want yourself in the game u can either add your name and stats, pic (or FG) would be nice or email them to me.

I dont care what your team name is if u have a custom name, just try to make sure its a major city.

anything else let me know i will post the rest in a dynasty forum when i finish.

forgot to say all players r coming in in their actual rookie sn, so some players wont blossom right way i need to also figure out the *** players
