On vacation and woke up at 5 a.m. central time with no reason to get up. Thought I'd make a quick check and confirm the game wasn't out yet and go back to sleep. Yeah, that didn't happen

I believe the earliest I've ever received the release email prior to today was ~8:00 am. Great job getting the game out early in the day. The links aren't fast but they are reasonable. I'm about 10 minutes away from some OOTP XI goodness.

Randomly, the colour scheme for the OOTP 11 forums just changed, and it's cool.

Questions now.

I like to schedule interleague exhibition games before spring training.

A. why do no injurys ever take place in these games?
B. Does this shake any player rust from off season?

Exhibition games do not cause any injuries by design, it's just for fun. It does not shake off rust either.

Can we please get a fix for all star rosters. if my league allows only 21 man rosters why do i get 28 man all star rosters? way too many pitchers make it for my league of three man rotations. theres 24 starters per league and 11 make the all star team. picking them manually can be tedious at times and sometimes i like to sim through it, but don't like non deserving pitchers grabbing an all star bid.

Also to add with baseball cards, its annoying it freezes stats at the time you make the card. all star cards are automatically made and the stats only reflect their first half on the back of the card. maybe a patch or two later and we will see some good improvements there.

Should I worry yet?

I dunno if Comcast is notoriously slow, but I have no email yet.

But please, it's all good. I'm ok if I don't get it until next week really. As long as I get it.

Just maybe worried that if you don't have it by a certain time you're likely not to get it at all???

Anyways, like I said, not worried about having the game today, only worried as to whether my name got deleted from the email list somehow I also didn't get the newsletter earlier announcing the features of OOTP 11. I didn't read that until I saw it in a sticky here and then ordered.

Just wanted to congratulate you on another release, and on the forums. I find this years the most pleasant since I've around (OOTP 2007).

Great job all the way around, and good luck in the upcoming weeks.

Peace

Joe

I wasn't expecting it this early, but great news! Now I'm wishing I took today off work.

Please be sure to check your spam filter. Different providers have different levels of aggressiveness when quarantining things, and since our e-mail has a lot of links in it, it could find it suspicious.

Yeah, I did check that, and while it showed several blocked emails, none were from OOTP.

Markus PMed me the links, and I've downloaded it and licensed it on both of my machines, so all is good.

Thanks Markus for the PM.

And thanks battists for all you do here as well.

Best game I ever owned.

Bar none.
