Hello again everybody,
I emailed Padresfan the final set of logos today. They should be posted in the near future. There is a readme included with detailed installation instructions. I am going to continue looking for and cleaning up obscure minor league logos, and will post them in this forum as I finish them. They won't come nearly as quickly as these have, but be sure to stop back and look for updates from time to time.

Hey Cody,
Great work on these and with the speed that you put these out! dcc

Great logos. Really appreciate the work.
I'm having a heck of a time getting them to work though. I've followed the instructions (delete logos, insert logos into logo folder/delete images from export and insert logos) but it decides to make up new logos anyway. Can anyone help me? Thanks! |

Nevermind, I got the images to appear. However, not all of them seem to work. Some of them just build blank circles for images. It seems to have built templates (with the right team colors) for about half the teams--including minor league teams.
EDIT: I fixed it. A couple of the MLB teams are named incorrectly. And the minor leagues, I did not notice some leagues were missing. I imported them off your photobucket, but the "th_" name all the files have before them means that needs to be deleted in every file for them to work for the game. Some Fixes if you start a Custom Game with MLB Setup
Great Work!!
![]() I started a new (custom) game one hour ago with the MLB Setup down to Single-A minors starting in 1903. I regognized some minor errors. Some logos were not adapted. This is because the team name in the league set-up is not the same name like the logo has. Here is a list of the teams that were without the proper network logo. The names here are the one used in OOTP10. I changed the logo names in the images folder so they matched with the exact in-game team names (of course it would have worked vice versa as well) next time I started a new game. Everything is working well since. ARI (AA) Mobile BayBears BAL (AA) Bowie Baysox DET (A) West Michigan Whitecops KC (AA) Arkansas Naturals LAA (AA) Northwest Arkansas Travelers OAK (AA) Midland RockHounds PHI (A) Lakewood BlueClaws STL (A) Quad Cities River Bandits TEX (AA) Frisco RoughRiders Most of the time it is just a matter of the nickname being there in one single word or in two words. Once it was a plural, .... In addition I had to change the name of the leagues and abbr. to them as well, so that these logos were included too. Last edited by RoteLaterne; 06-14-2009 at 10:06 AM. |

One of the reasons I didn't use many of the logos was because they had a white background. I'm not a big fan of the grainy white border. It's not impossible, it just takes more time and patience to get rid of. I'm working on a few.

This is now my favorite set of logos for OOTP. And I love how many teams you have represented. Great work!

Okay, so after having spoken to CodyG about how to get the upper left-hand corner correct, I've had a go at creating my own logos in this style. I'm pretty sure that none of them are exact repeats, although some are teams that are already represented in the pack, just with another year's logo for something different.
The five teams (in order) are the 1957 Hollywood Stars (PCL), the Tucson Toros (PCL/GBL), 1950s Toronto Maple Leafs (IL), Seattle Rainiers (PCL) and 1998 Orlando Rays (SL)

Lookin' good BigRed! Here are some more that I found - better versions of a few Federal League teams:
Baltimore Terrapins, Brooklyn Tip-Tops, Chicago Whales, Pittsburgh Rebels/Stogies, St. Louis Terriers.

Some other vintage logos:
Brooklyn Atlantics (1868), New Orleans Pelicans (1942), Newark Peppers (another Federal League, oops), Oakland Oaks (1940), Portland Ducks (1929).

And, finally, some from the West Coast Negro League (I'd never heard of it before, anyone else?) I don't think these are original, they came from a t-shirt company's website, but they still look pretty good.
Oakland Larks, Portland Roses, San Diego Tigers, San Francisco Seals, and Seattle Steelheads.

First up is the old Southern Association. Here are the logos for the Chattanooga Lookouts, Mobile Bears, Nashville Vols, New Orleans Pelicans (didn't know you had just done another Pelicans one, Cody) and Shreveport Sports:

Another Southern Association logo - the Memphis Chickasaws (before they were the Chicks):
Three from the Texas League - the Beaumont Exporters, the Houston Buffaloes and the San Antonio Missions: And while there is a Sacramento Solons (PCL) logo in the pack, it looks like is was taken from a scanned photo. I found a graphic and made this version - the lines are crisper and cleaner. Use it if you want. The Southern Assoc. and Texas League logos used as the basis from these were posted by No Pepper in another thread. So thanks for that!

I've been a busy boy. Here's some "West Coast representation" as well.
Three from the GBL - Calgary Vipers, Edmonton Cracker Cats (now Capitals) and Long Beach Breakers (now Armada): And two teams that don't exist anymore. A 2004 Edmonton Trappers logo (their last PCL season in Alberta) and a 2008 Visalia Oaks (now Rawhide) logo: That's all for now. More to come, no doubt!
