The trouble with many Hispanics is that they have the same or similiar names. To prevent overwrite problems I'm reposting these two fighters.

Alex Sanchez is being reposted as Texas Alex Sanchez in order to prevent an overwrite error with the other Alex Sanchez already in the data pool. (I posted that fighter as well).

As I posted on your other thread, I love what you are doing with these ratings. One suggestion, if I might. It would be helpful to us if you provided us with some basic info like weight class and career years when you post the ratings. This way we can pick and choose without downloading or searching through boxing.rec to see what these fighters are all about.

Regardless, this is some great stuff!!! Plenty of guys to help fill out an undercard at El Monte Legion Stadium.

The info is in the file itself. I always include as much info as boxrec offers on the fighters rating either on the first page or the bio page. If weight range isn't listed it's because there was none to be had. This is the same for everything else also. Most of the fighters I rate are nobodys and there just isn't much to go on on boxrec or anywhere else. I don't type out the info that's in a fighter's file because I rate so many fighters that I don't have the time to do so. All I can suggest is that you download any file I post, examine it, and if you don't want it, delete it.

Once again, John, I wish you would reconsider. I personally think it would make your great work more accessible. Many of the fighters you've rated are not household names (which is one of the great things about your threads). Many of us are only interested in particular eras but have no way of knowing if a fighter you've posted fits into our individual needs. Speaking for myself, I'm more inclined to pass on the ratings than bother with the effort of downloading and adding them to my pool then having to delete them if the don't "fit"

When I raised this request in the past, you indicated that time was a factor. And given all your research to create these fighters, that's certainly a valid reason. Still, you've got the basic information (weight class and career span) at hand, and by posting it along with the ratings, I think you'd greatly enhance your threads.

Regarless of what you decide, keep up the effort. Your ratings greatly enhance the TBCB experience and benefit all of us!
