Bear, I did know this ...

... actually learned about it from the recently departed (banned) MH -- this was the fix around one of the major bugs in 2.0.27 that started newly-imported fighters at different PP levels (0 for some, 1000 for others, when the default for all was supposed to be 200), which could really screw up your rankings for those that care about such things. I find I use this feature repeatedly when adding new fighters to my Uni, as I have to give them a fake win before the computer accepts the starting PP level of 200.

Of course his "recovery" and "chin" to some extent is still very subjective in what these attributes should be rated....
Spent some time today watching a group of fights.....two of Gonzalez's most recent were among them. In doing so I have retweaked his ratings... to have his counter punching tweaked up to 37...and his punches missed down to 60 (as he is throwing much tigher shots from better balance and is not as easy to counter from those missed shots). We may see his landing numbers tweaked up from 39 to 40 within a year.... (also tweaked his fighting outside up to a 2, it should have been there from the begining).

Would love to see "Juanma" Juan Lopez..the guy looks like a beast and is going through contenders like they are club fighters.

Perhaps a rating for Hector Camacho as a Lightweight.

I have two interesting requests for fighters most people have not heard of:

Saddam Kietyongyuth from Thailand who is 17-0 with 13 KO's. He seems to be a star on the rise and could be force at LW in the near future. He has beaten two experienced fighters in Jimrex Jaca and Serikzhan Yeshmagambetov in covincing fashion recently.

Beibut Shumenov is a LHW prospect who has been on meteoric rise since his pro debut in late 2007. In his first seven fights, he has faced veterans Shannon Miller, Donnell Wiggins, Lavell Finger, Montell Griffin, and Epifanio Mendoza. It looks like he will be challenging for a world title at some point in '09.

Juan Lopez reminds of Wilfredo Gomez. It's amazing how little Puerto Rico churns out so many good fighters decade after decade. Lopez's worst enemy at this point is probably over-confidence. As long as he doesn't let that happen, he'll be able to run off a whole lot of wins.

I just inserted him into my universe yesterday at #10 ranked with a record of 14-0 (14 KO's).

Sometimes I start fighters off from their first fight... other times, they hit the ground running in their primes!

^ Jim, how did you decide on 14-0? I've been able to update records of the fighters I've been fighting since the late 90's in TB now. With Lopez I finally have a serious contender for my WBO champ (Zaragoza) who's 18-3 & made 13 title defenses.

I have a "beta-version" of Saddam Kietyongyuth on my game - However, he is somewhat to green / unknown yet for me to fully release him into my UNI ...Just yet. I've seen 4 of his fights on tape. He definitley has talent. But there are still unknowns with him, his chin, punching accurrecy (Vs quality).......absorb punhishment,.....I'm just not sure enough on these yet...

Scott Mallon said the one weakness he saw was defense but Kietyongyuth took some clean shots from Yeshmagambetov and responded well. At least he has a promoter willing to put him in against tough fighters which is uncommon in Thailand, Indonesia, and the Phillipines.

I would like to see Aussie and Victorian BW champ from the 1910's Jack Janesse added. Good boxer who was born and bred in Bendigo (not born in Melbourne as stated by boxrec).

Aussie HW from the 1990's Vince Cervi would also be a valuable addition.

Billy Willis (12290)

Lightweight Billy Willis would be a good addition.

Willis fought 163 times according to Boxrec.
