Sad news, Cleo Neal fans. It is now 1920 and Clea Neal is 37. Neal missed huge chunks of time in the last 4 seasons and is no longer the Cleo Neal of legend.

11-06-1916 - Torn ab. muscle - out 13 months. Injured in the Championship Series. Ratings 99(101)-89(89)-100(101)
Misses all but 10 games of the 1917 season.
3-28-1918 - Torn rib cage - out 11 months. Injured in preseason.
Misses all of the 1918 season.
3-25-1920 - Torn PCL - out 8 months. Injured in preseason. Has played in 6 games with about 12 to go in the season.
Current ratings 75(96)-60(88)-101(101).

Sad for me because, even though he wasn't on my team, he was to set the bar in my record books for years to come. He'll likely still set those bars (like his .347 career average) but they won't be nearly as high as they should have been.
