I'm a little shocked by some of the names but I can't say I'm surprised it's so rampant.

The thing to remember is that a lot of folks didn't cooperate with the investigation so there are more than just those on that list.

Why? The guy was pretty much the same size and build his whole career, and was never hugely muscular. Why the suspicion?

Brian Roberts makes the report because Larry Bigbie said he told him he took steroids.

This report is stupid.

First of all...I'm a big Piazza fan...and true he was never hugely muscular...but I remember seeing something about reporters seeing Creatine...or whatever that stuff was...in his locker...so sometimes you figure one thing leads to another.

Plus...his opposite field home-run power was at times not human...so sometimes I would silently wonder.

Why is it stupid. The report lays out in detail why the players listed are there. Some have more evidence then others. If you choose to discredit Bigbee and think he's lying thats fine but it doesn't make the report stupid or change the fact that several players have direct evidence (i.e. cancelled checks)

When you're not happy with the results, this is what you say.

I couldn't care less about the results. I don't care who is on steroids and who isn't. I wouldn't care if they all are.

And some of the evidence in there is good. But some of it so totally circumstantial that it's ridiculous that it even be listed.

With the exception of Brian Roberts, all the other O's have a lot of evidence against them. This isn't Larry Bigbie on a witchhunt.

If the evidence against an individual is listed, and it was obtained during the investigation, why in bloody hell shouldn't it be in the investigation report?
