one more odd thing...I saw a player's photo disappear during a game I was playing. One inning he had a photo, the next inning not.

OK I unzipped the file to C:/AU2006.

I have netframework 2.0 on the computer.

But every time I go to launch I get the following:

Cannot download the application. The application is missing required files.

It looks like you are not getting a good DL.

Are you using IE to download the program?

If so, empty your temp internet files and try again.

That I can't explain. I have yet to see this happen. That is an OOTP thing though.

What happens if you run the program on the league again and just pick 2 years close to each other, like 1871 and 1872 (you can type in those values)

Sticky please. This utility is MAJOR time saver, greatly enhances the game and it's being supported by Larry on a daily basis. Not to mention I don't have time yet to play with this and when I finally do, I don't want to have to go and do a search.

Could I suggest an improvement that would make it even better? Is it possible to search say 3 different folders for the photo in order. I'll try to explain what I mean.

Say I have your downloaded photos in folder \PHOTOS1, Wrightwings in folder \PHOTOS2 and OzzieSaints in folder \PHOTOS3. Is it possible to search for each missing photo say first in \PHOTOS1 and if not found then \PHOTOS2 and if still not found then \PHOTOS3?

There just seem to be multiple photopacks out there without any of them being 100% complete, so i thought this would be useful.

The way it works now is it first searches in UPDATE, then in the years specified, unless it is a guy from Japan. I guess I could fix it so that you could add custom folders. I will see what I can do.

7-17-2006 - New Feature!!

Added the Custom Folder. Under FILE, select Custom folder and you can browse for an additional folder to search. It will remember this custom folder the next time you launch the program.

NOTE: It searchs this folder first, if it finds a match, it does not search the other folders.

Is the CSV dump inside League/Database/Tools in the V2006 game? I've clicked the third option in that drop down but when I go to run the program I keep getting a message saying that I must set up a CSV dump for the league. I only have one league in 2006 so I'm not selecting the wrong league. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Photos seem to be downloaded in correct folder and I have MS Framework 2.0 etc. Thanks.

Can you show me a screen shot of the exact error you are getting?

How was the league created. Is it a historical league, if so, what year.

Can you try it on another season? Create the 1999 historical season, do the dump and then try it. I just did it for that season and I was able to put a real face on every player, except about 25.

Added the ability to have the program automatically add Staff Photos from a Staff Photo section. Now with the click of the button, the program assigns a photo to each coach, manager, etc. It does not overwrite any existing ones. It uses a collection of over 2400 that Endgame has assembled.

It also WILL NOT use the same photo more than once. No clones.

I have not uploaded this version, but I will do later on today along with the staff.jpg file.
