Now we've really done it! We've brought Graeme over from the FM side!

I didn't know you were doing hockey. You guys are blowing up!

And I guess I'll have to start thinking about the EHM...

Already bought it.

My younger brother refused to buy 2005. He spent over a month (recorded game time) on his saved game and did not want to part with it.

(So, yes, it is a wonderful addiction, er, addition to the family.)

Any self respecting EHM fan would have waited until he was out of the house and deleted his saved game.

WarningTrack - we've been doing hockey for 3 years(ish) now. The next version (EHM 2007) is out some time in September. I think you should consider buying it . It's different to OOTP of course(and to FM) but our situation is pretty much the same as OOTP - still trying to get the hardcore following so we can try and take the game onto the next level.

If I lived at home, I might just have done it! But it looks like I better start preparing for EHM07. Any chance you can release it on the 11th as my birthday present?

Not sure which day it's gonna be. If it's not the 11th then you can go visit your brother and delete his saved game.

I love EHM, but it runs painfully slow on my G4. Any chance that it will be less of a resource hog this go round, or do I need to buy a new computer?

Thats right! Blame me!

I've heard of one or two people who have had a similar problem, but I've never been able to reproduce it here. You should probably try the demo when it comes out, in case we have fixed it by accident. How does OOTP run?

OOTP is blazingly fast. I expected it to be kind of laggy as a veteran of CM/FM, but boy have I been pleasantly surprised. I just simulated my Cuban SNB from January to August in less than two minutes. Of course now I have to wait to continue until the Mac preorder problem is solved, but that's ok. I'll definitely give the EHM 07 demo a try.

I downloaded the pay and play mac version onto my macbook pro and have to say I'm very happy with the speed. Once I can get it to accept my code so I can play more than six months i'll be really happy.

Lots of detail, lots of stuff to explore. lots more time with the game guide required to make my way through the game.

I fully expect to spend quite some time with the quickstart version and some different test leagues before I attempt to build my tremendously complex and time consuming historical/fantasy world.

ps. I've been waiting years for a good baseball sim on mac so i can wait until the pre-order problem gets fixed.

Amen. This is the sim I've always dreamed of. I love Cuban baseball and never before have I had the opportunity to set up anything approximating their structure. My universe is not perfect, but with tweaking it will be.

Please download the file again : http://rapidshare.de/files/22548156/..._setup_101.dmg

Hit the activate button on the main screen and enter your serial code. Then start a new game and you are rocking!
