At this point the Yankee fans are so spoiled if they dont win the WS its a failure. They could care less if they win 120 games in the regular season, if they don't win the WS they are disappointed in the season. So no he isn't out of his mind, in the mind of the Yankee fan, they aren't winning!!

looking at his name, id say he's not a yankee fan.

Yep, same here. Sometimes, you gotta wonder just which set of fans are the most "annoying". Bandwagon Yankee fans or Yankee haters.

On that note, I had to laugh yesterday. I've always found the "Yankees suck" chants to be one of the most classless things fans do. Well, 2 nights ago, I got to watch the Twins fans choke on it

They were chanting "Jeter sucks" just before he got a hit in the inning the Yankees rallied for a 5-4 lead. I don't think I ever laughed so hard at a ballgame before.

eh... the Yankees Suck chants are all in good fun. I can't stand idiot fans and I've got 3 different Yankees Suck shirts.

When it annoys me is when I'm (or someone else is) talking to a Yankees fan about baseball and someone else chimes in with it and throws it in their face.

It's equivalent to the "1918" chant before 2004 happened. It didn't bother me that it was chanted at games... just a time and a place issue.
