It looks like the Phils are poised to announce that the starting rotation will be the following:

Jon Lieber
Brett Myers
Corey Lidle
Ryan Madson
Gavin Floyd, who is the surprise probably

Ryan Franklin who'd been contending for a starting spot will go the bullpen.

The interesting one, to me, in all of this is Ryan Madson. He's now going to be pitching in a situation where he'll have to face the same hitters multiple times in a game. One good thing though is that Madson has 3 pitches, fastball, curve and an excellent change. So he's not a reliever with only 2 pitches, and his curve looks better than last year's. We also saw Madson increase his K rate last season, although his ERA went up.
