To be honest I don't even notice usually. Let's spell it the British/Canadian way, it looks far more elegant with an 's'.

This is like spelling color "color" in FM and not "colour". That would never fly with the FM crowd. . And it looks pussyish with the "s". "z" makes it look more hardcore .

"fix" it? You made it sound like it's wrong or somthing. We don't ever care if anyone spells colour, "color", here in Canada.

Well.... like it or not, OOTP is now a "global" game - so I don't think it can be looked at as a "problem" that needs to be "fixed". Word spellings like color vs colour and organization vs organisation have been around for, well... as long as the US has. The English spellings are more commonplace in Europe, Canada, and previous British colonies, which is a rather large area

Anyone used to dealing on a global basis is used to sometimes adjusting various written documentation to the target reading area - and reading such documentation, sometimes, when it is of the other "flavour"

Since baseball (and OOTP) is attempting to go global, and thus is now entering the world of language differences, it seems logical (and prudent) to approach this the same way other industries have and accept the language variance.

Having read a lot over the years, and having been involved with many global documents over time, I feel comfortable with both spellings. I would even have to admit that I see a certain romantisism in the English spelling and the related pronounciations.

Bottom line is it doesn't bother me one way or the other. The issue really comes down to what SI/OOTP thinks in terms of how the spelling issue will effect sales, if at all.

Show me an english language dictionary where "transactins" is acceptable and I'd agree with you.

Are we no longer going to see 'feet' and 'inches' now too? I'm so confused.

Without a doubt, the silliest discussion I've ever seen on here about a game feature/look/whatever.

You know, we keep talking about how this is an international game...yet I see no mention of Esperanto support.

I mean, come on!

I think it's around 16 liters. Or litres. Or litours.
