sweet and I promise last one... Jeff Francoeur? And is his current rating going to be decent enough to start him?

I asked once, and he didn't answer and I was making sure he didn't forget by asking again because he had answered you, and you asked after me...

calm down guys

Francouer will definately be good enough to start, maybe not AS good as his '05 numbers, but his potentials will be very solid too.

Haven't rated Johjima yet, I'll let you know when I do. Thinking somewhere around Tadahito Iguchi numbers with a bit more pop, less speed.

2005 stats are done!

They are all inputted correctly, and look very very good. I must admit, I have a bit of OCD when it comes to roster sets, so I like them looking as clean as possible.

Still planning on a Christmas day release for the rosters with full depth charts, 2005 stats, etc. all correct. The ones with correct service time I hope to have out after that, and if I can squeeze it in soon, histories as well.

Just an update.

EDIT: Also, I should have every player in there who played a MLB game in 2004 and 2005. Minor league guys (outside of the teams prospects who I plan on including all of) are a bit tougher to do, which is where you guys come in. When I release the roster sets, I hope you guys can give me a run down of minor league guys that I might have missed.

Please notice Felix Hernandez is number 2 only behind Johan Santana.

Edit: There is also another Mariner that is constantly underrated, Yuniesky Betancourt. He has been compared to Ozzie Smith, only with a better bat.
I think you misspelled his name. Its Justin Verlander who is the best young pitcher in the league and the #1 pitching prospect in the minors

No, the ratings are what will take in between now and Christmas, but on that roster set, it will have all players in it, with all complete stats, and all complete ratings. I must admit, doing the ratings is my favorite part, so it will be tough not to stretch this out as I'm kind of anal about them and getting them right by running test sims.

The nice part is that on my last roster set I was VERY happy with the ratings for a lot of guys, so all I need to do is re-rate the guys who had big time years, and go through and check the other players and do slight modifications to make sure they reflect how they play today.

Also forgot to mention I've found a website with very accurate salary listings, as well as service time information, so I'm hoping to have that in as well as it won't take as much time as I thought.

I'll update you guys late tonight on how things are going... cheers!

The good news is I'm enjoying this quite a bit.

The bad news is that I don't really see a X-Mas release as possible, as its going to take me 3-4 extra days to do all the things I want (service time, deep minors, etc.)

However! Not all is lost. I know you guys probably would like to know how the project is going, so I'm going to go through team by team doing the rating edits and prospects, and when I finish a team, I'll post that team's rosters for everyone to inspect / bitch about / critique.

Hopefully this way I can nip any roster problems in the bud and you guys can let me know if I'm missing something somewhere on a team's rosters.

Working on Arizona and hopefully Atlanta before I go to sleep, will be knocking out quite a few tomorrow as well. Keep your eyes peeled, I'll most likely be starting a new thread for the rosters.

Hey guys, still alive!

Had problems with the elicense server as it was down, so couldn't move to my other computer. But things are fixed now and I'm back to it. I have a bunch of teams that I have done, that will be posted tonight. Hope everyone had a good holiday!

I thought my webspace for my old league was still up, but I was wrong, I will have to reactivate it tomorrow morning I think. Was out all night for my b-day getting sloshed (hurray 21) so didn't get much done today. Still, I'm very happy with the progress, and it shouldn't take anything more than a few more days.

Cubbies, I heard through the grapevine that you have a website in which you released a few teams? Is this true? Or are you planning a release still in a few days? Thanks

My webspace is giving me crap, I have teams done through the LA squads (completely, minus service time which takes just a few minutes, doing those all at the end)... I'm just going to sign up for some free space somewhere and throw them up there for now I guess.

Just a heads up, prospects on AL teams won't be done much reflecting 05 (they will be as of beginning / middle 05) as BA hasn't posted AL scouting reports, and a few other prospect websites I use haven't updated 06 rankings at all. Those will be updated in January when BA releases theirs, but I am doing 'spects in the NL for now.

I'd give you some webspace to use on my site, but I don't think I can assign subdirectory specific ftp access. You'd have access to my entire site through ftp.
