The longer this season goes the more worried I get about the 2nd sentence in that.

I forgot about that. I guess we'll see what the Giants record is like once they've played more than 2 road games.

At this point, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they finish 9-0 at Giants Stadium and 0-7 everywhere else.

Crud, the Eagles are infuriating right now. It's like there is two different teams playing, often in the same game.

That was some Giants game yesterday. I was glad I was there to see the blowout in person.

You weren't playing Civ4?

No I wasn't. The laptop I have couldn't handle it.

Luckily, it was a blowout, and we left after Tiki scored the last Giants TD (end of third quarter iirc).

The balance seems to have shifted a bit.

The Giants at 6-2 and top of the NFC East at the halfway point has surprised me.
The defense has been a pleasant surprise after getting torched by Tomlinson.
Eli is doing alot better than I anticipated, he's avoiding being sacked/buying time, and has done a great job with not turning the ball over.
The matchup against Philly in a couple of weeks will be a good indicator as to how far this team can or can't go. Not having to defend TO certainly will help the defense.

Since nobody asked...

NFC East at home:

Giants 5-0
Redskins 4-0
Eagles 3-0
Cowboys 3-1

NFC East away:

Cowboys 2-2
Giants 1-2
Redskins 1-3
Eagles 1-4

Still waiting for the schedule to balance out a bit...

This week:

Giants at home vs Vikings
Redskins on road vs Bucs
Eagles at home vs Cowboys

I wouldn't be surprised if the home teams win out this week...again. With New York playing 4 of their last 6 games in Philly, Seattle, Washington, and Oakland, I also wouldn't be surprised to hear lots of "OMG LATE SEASON COLLAPSE WUT HAPPENED 2 NEW YORK!@#!" talk.
