They will be walking (literally) away with a shiny new trophy for their efforts, as well as a shot to defend their title in the second PT World Championship later this cycle!

PTCS #6 Champions!

Congratulations to the teams who have qualified for the Perfect Team Master Series via PTCS #6 today! Thanks to everyone who participated in PTCS #6 today, and in particular congrats to the Cleveland Flyin' Gs, Breslau Binturongs, San Diego Swingers, and dboyer dboyer for winning their respective tournaments and a PTCS Exclusive Al Kaline!

NOTE: Due to three of tonight's semifinal teams throughout the PTMS landscape already qualifying for the Perfect Team Master Series via previous PTCS tournaments, we will be replacing the PTCS 6 spots of the Gabba Goos (Daily Traditional), Seattle Aftershocks (Daily Traditional), and Breslau Binturongs (Weekly Traditional). (In the case of the Gabba Goos, they will be considered making the PTMS via their 2nd place finish in the Traditional Weekly Tournament.)

To do so, we will take the 5th-8th place team that finished with the highest ranking in the Period 6 standings for the respective routes that need a replacement. In the Daily Traditional, we will take the top 2.

Replacing the Gabba Goos from the PTCS 6 Daily Traditional Route are...the North York Gridlock, owned by watty3, who finished #35 in the Period 6 Daily Traditional standings, and replacing the Seattle Aftershocks from the same routeare...the Gouverneur Destroyers, owned by Weldon06, who finished #55 in the Period 6 Daily Traditional standings! The other quarterfinalists considered were the Minneapolis Millers (#112) and the Richmond Spiders (#117).

Finally, replacing the Breslau Binturongs from the PTCS 6 Weekly Traditional Route are...the Meaty Oakers, owned by mraudit, who finished #22 in the Period 6 Weekly Traditional Standings! Other quarterfinalists considered were the Merseyside Insufferables (#44), Buhl Waters (#87), and Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs (#96).

Congratulations again to everyone who qualified!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in yesterday's 7th Perfect Team Championship Series!

A special congratulations go out to the Country Clubbers, BERG Bienwald Bullys, Steel City Buccos and New York Highlanders for taking home the PTCS exclusive Steve Carlton!

However, we will have to replace 2 PTMS qualifiers from yesterday due to prior qualification already in this PTMS cycle. Those teams are the Everett Aqua Sox (Weekly Traditional) and dboyer-E6 dboyer (Weekly PD). As is standard procedure, the places will be filled by those who lost in the quarterfinals in the respective tourneys where replacements are needed who finished the highest in the entire PTCS period in the category they competed in and have not already qualified.

In the Weekly Traditional, the highest-ranked quarterfinalist was the Joe Crede Fandom (#19), however they have already qualified via the PTCS 5 Weekly Traditional. So, with that, we go to the next-highest-ranked quarterfinalist, the Adirondack LOLCats, owned by j_d_a, who finished #29 in the Period 7 standings. Other teams in consideration were dboyer-E6 dboyer (#64) and the Edinburgh Diamond Devils (#70).

In the Weekly PD, the highest-ranked quarterfinalist were the FFS Snails (#26), but they too also previously qualified via the PTCS 5 Weekly Traditional. Due to that, we go to the next-highest-ranked quarterfinalist, the Palatine Plutos TBD, owned by RedEclipse, who finished #32 in the Period 7 standings. Other teams considered were the Circle City Monuments (#37) and the Stargell Stars TTC (#59).

Congrats to everyone who qualified!
