YEESSS!!! At last! I would like to thank my family and my...

Finally we won. It felt like we were close considering the way that the season has started for us. Close match as you said Scot. Thank you btw.

My BW's performed as we are getting used to now. Sam Soliman did what he was supposed to and snagged a couple of pts where his predecesor would have failed. I'm worried about J.Chavez though. He is underperforming slightly. Burford picked up his 1st win for the season, good for him.

The Gold-East div is quite the hornets nest after 3 weeks.

Thank's Janick, for a good match and good luck with the rest of the season.

Edit: I acutally woke up at 0600 on a saturday morning to check out the score. That's how much I enjoy the league.

Week 3 Individual Title Chase

Individual champs performed rather well as a whole in Week 3 as 6 champs managed to hold onto their belts.

Champions that retained their title in Week 3:
  • HW Peter Jackson (11 successful title defenses)
  • LHW Bob Foster (13 successful title defenses)
  • MW Tiger Flowers (3 successful title defenses)
  • WW Mark Breland (3 successful title defenses)
  • LW Ernesto Espana (3 successful title defenses)
  • FW Young Griffo (6 successful title defenses)
The two smaller weight classes took a hit with the Fly's having the biggest shake-up.

Bantamweight Alfonso Zamora lost his title to Memphis Pal Moore in the opening match. Memphis Pal Moore became a 2-time BW champ with the victory and defended the new crown in his next match.

Flyweight's:
Sot Chitalada retained his title vs. Vic Darchinyan that ended in a Draw (TD 4) due to an accidental head butt. Chitalada then lost his belt via TKO 11 to first time champion, Hussein Hussein. Hussein then immediately lost his crown to Santos Laciar in his next bout.
This marked the third time that Laciar has strapped on the UTBA Fly belt in his career. Laciar was able to hold onto his new belt in his next bout with Vic Darchinyan winning by a UD15.

Sorry I made you wait for what must've seemed like weeks to see your teams score especially since I've known the results for two days now. I'm still a little rusty at getting things posted or SLOW.

Not sure which one it is yet.

The UTBA title lineage has been updated. Use the UTBA History Link in my sig. to view them.

I'll have the rosters updated before the first waiver round closes and the Top 20 rankings will also be updated sometime after I finish the rosters.

Slow? Rusty? Bah! Let's agree that you have a well developed feeling for how to build suspense

Great job as always.

Congrats Tommy on the first win. You've been there the last two matches so I'm sure you're glad to finally get the win. Quick question, who is that in your avatar? The guy kicking looks like Jerome Le Banner to me but I'm not sure as my kickboxing knowledge ain't where it should be.

I must say I really like the newest addition to the standing pictures being able to tell right away where you stand in the wildcard race is nice. Man, that Gold East division is shaping up to be a real dogfight.

Thank's Romy. Yeah that win was welcome for sure. I'm not expecting great things from the team just yet but it is nice to see that we are going in the right direction.

It's Ramon Dekkers on the picture. Don't know how much you have heard about him but he is undoubtably one of the best non Thai ever to set foot in a Muay Thai ring. The picture is taken from his last (K1) fight against Duane Ludwig in 2005. Dekkers retired with a 185-20 record.

I forget on the waiver wire is it only one transaction a round or can I just list all the guys I want to pick up and release?

Ah, yeah I don't know a ton about him but I do some about Dekkers cool thanks for the answer.
