Probably not, but that sadly won't matter to the fans if they don't start winning games regularly.

Considering the amount of players Keane has brought in and the fact that much of the squad that won this league eighteen months ago is still present then I think the answer to that should be yes, you can blame him if they remain hovering around the relegation zone.

The mighty Bromley tonight faced a bit of a six pointer against Harrow who were sitting in the playoff spots going into the game. We ended up making a bit of a dogs breakfast f the whole thing, adding a bit of needless stress to this aging body. Bromley roared away, took a 3-0 lead around the hour, missing a penalty on the way. Job done you would think, especially as we hadn’t let in a single goal for weeks. Instead we conspired to let Harrow right back in it.

Harrow pulled one back with ten minutes to go, and we ended up playing with ten men after Tony Boot got injured with all three subs on. Suddenly from total dominance we were clinging on as Harrow pulled another goal back, but fortunately time was on our side and we were saved by the final whistle. Hopefully it will give everyone a bit of a wakeup call. If we get lackadaisical we’ll quickly blow our hard earnt advantage, but hopefully this scare will give us a boot up the backside before we get hurt. We stretched our lead by another point tonight, now having a five point margin at the top with a quarter of the season gone.

These are the matches that really show us we are alive.

Serves Dwight Yorke right for leaving Sydney FC to "return to a standard of football that Australia will probably never reach". LOL, he has a point, if Sunderland can avoid relegation. If it cant, he was better off living in Star City Casino in beautiful Sydney, going clubbing during the week, hanging out with former Miss Universes and laying on Bondi beach for the rest of the time. So long Dwight.

Well being from Watford I guess I should support the local teams, but that's not how football works, and Harrow as a place is by-and-large ****. So Hoorah!

As for Alan Smith; I don't think he's a loose cannon. He was a striker that Ferguson has turned into a midfielder. I think he definitely has a lot of team spirit. He is a bit of a fiery character and a bit of a talker - whines far too much to the ref when things don't go his way - he's perfect for Man Utd.

I wouldn't read too much into him being feisty. He's the type of player who usually gives his all. Plus he's now back from a long-term injury so he's probably desperate to show what he can do.

Could it be that over the next few seasons we come to see Man U in more sympathetic terms as they fall into the next to upper tier of EPL teams in terms of money available and fiery types like Smoth and Rooney come to be the face of Man U?

It pisses me off that Univision and Telemundo and all their sister networks show so much Mexican soccer and so little else. I understand why they do it but I wish they would show a few matches from other leagues as well. They do do a great job covering the WC, the Copa America and Confederations though.

You know what I hate? It's channels who buy the full rights to a certain event, and then don't show it.
For example, Sky Sports own the rights to show all the Super 14 games, but show a maximum of one or two a week. Why? They moan about people d/ling on bittorrent, but if they actually gave the viewers what they wanted, you wouldn't have to do it.
