 Maxwell has hit the ground 'swinging' and is a major boost to the Monster offense. Martinez stays hot in the 2-hole, batting in front of Sarver. Sutton had a better month for him, but the 30% K-Rate is dragging down all of his traditional production.  John Martinez is having a career year, and along with Cardenas at leadoff, have provided Sarver with a ton of RBI opportunities, and he very often has cashed in on the those. Hopefully the addition of Maxwell will pull Sutton's production up as well. RF Orlando Acevedo is finally having the season Mesa has been waiting for. He's not setting the world on fire, but is producing at an above average rate. prospect 3B Danny Urbon was called up to platoon with a struggling Schuler. Medina replaces Salazar as the starting catcher and that has been a big upgrade for the offense. |

 Regression has hit Nagari Haaaaard this month, namely the Home Run Bug. The CYA runner up allowed 12 HR all of last season, and served up 6 bombs just in the month of June. His 7.17 ERA in the month illustrates just how many of those HRA were of the 3-run variety. Silver dodged the regression like a champ and posted his best month of the season. Harper and Diaz suffered big step backs in June, while Wagner held his season long production. Steve Buckman, the young lefty reliever, has taken big strides forward, namely in his strikeout rate and not allowing big home runs.

  Decided to go with 6 playoff teams per league (25%), with the top 2 teams getting a bye in the first round. We'll see how that format works out. |

Nabo48 - september / final update of 2050 ...
  Eliminated from playoff contention on the next to last day of the season. Team didn't play bad over the last stretch, but did get outplayed. Lack of situation hitting and some bullpen blowups were devastating. |
