Next Series: Marlboro Reds

3 games vs Marlboro. They are tied with Atlantis for 1st place. They are led by veteran 3B John Coff and rookie CF Greg Winter. They have good team speed and some solid starting pitching with Gimm Domingiez, RJ Reynolds & David Key. While Treem is a solid C we can ran on this team at will. They can do the same to us however.

Peter Trapp is gonna miss some time with my Sox.
I signed Christian Hernandez, in hopes that he can start in a few weeks if need be. I also have a pending offer to SP Tim Cockshut.
Losing Elsk Hopkins may hurt Highland's chances of keeping up with Springfield & Bird City.
Bad news for Knutsen.

Next Series: Atlantis Sharks

4 games vs Atlantis including a DH on Sunday. This is gonna be a tough series, these guys have been surging lately. Oko is leading the league in average and is the early front runner for MVP. Many great players on this team, they are very fundamentally sound. Oko, Marvin Smith, Webber, Kucera, Leyland, MAttucks, Granger & Levy are all solid. Thankfully we are facing the bottom 2 in their rotation 1st., so we might split this series. We are terrible vs LHP. Hitting around .197 vs LHP.

Anderson Indians Weekly

3-4. we seem to be going backward. Lamont Morris is one streaky player. 3-4, 0-3, 2-4, 0-4 his last 4 games.
Dan Price is DtD after bruising his shin while catching. Hagins is also DtD with a mild oblique strain. Drew Creswell was demoted to AAA. Adrian Houser was recalled from AAA and will start Game 2 on Sunday in place of Price.

Next Series: Willowbrook Warriors

4 games @ Willowbrook including a DH on Sunday. We are on a 3 game winning streak after sweeping our 1st series of the year vs Endor City. Willowbrook is among the worst teams in the AL so sweeping them for a 7 game winning streak isn't out of the question. They can be pesky at times are led by 3B Fred Flintsone, 2B Barney Rubble and 1B Dick Kronfield (Chris Chambliss). On the pitching side they are led by starters rookie Brian Bobst and crafty lefty Nunan. The back end of their pen is un-hittable in SU Tim Danz & CL Tim Day. They moved into Bob Brook Stadium this year after 5 season in The Odium. BB Stadium is also the home of the Willowbrook Gladiators of the EFL.

Corvair took over in the NL East. Glenbard so far til has a significant lead over Brandywine even without Bob Bellias for the next 3 months. The AL is still close with the top 4 teams in each division.

White Sox are longer in last and they have a better record then the Cubs.
Yankees with 2 SP on the DL have lost their lead to the Orioles. Oakland is pulling away from Seattle.

Battle Droids lead is down to 1 game, it was 8 or so a few weeks ago. Anakin is really bad.

Player Spotlight: Tim Cockshutt

POS: SP B: B T: R #33
How Acq: Signed as FA 5/22/17
The man of many nicknames was a solid SP with the Anakin Lightsabers 2005-10, then he was traded to the Millennium Falcons. 3 poor season with Pittsburgh, Tim thought he was done. He signed with Pine Tree and had his best overall season of his career.
Tim went into the New Republic Navy after he graduated High School at age 17. It was right after the Rebellion had liberated Coruscant. He was a Navy Corpsman and had aspirations of being a doctor. He is being asked to be Anderson's doctor this season and help a team in need of a spark. He has already met legendary surgeon Edwin McCain who is a close personal friend of Admiral Fox.

Next Series: Highland Scots

3 games @ Highland. Highland is underachieving right now in my opinion. They have a solid team. 5 good SP. Offense is weak as far as power, they are more of a small ball team. Losing Hopkins is hurting them. They play in Irish Stadium which is modeled after Milwaukee County Stadium. Would be nice to beat them after losing 3 of 4 to Willowbrook and finish strong in May. The Scots are led by rookie P Cadens, veteran Mike Highland, Cedric Ball. On offense their best star is 2B Jonare Randolph.
