I am surpirsed to see that both Ivan Rodriguez & Curtis Granderson have held on to that wild card spot. Playing in the first round I would of thought was a little bit of a disadvantage... can they hold on for 8 more??

Thanks! It is pretty surprising that they are hanging on this long. My goal is to get through the play in round tonight, so we'll see if that holds up.

Tony Solaita surprises and advances to the first round over George Foster and his 348 home runs for the career and 52 home runs in 1977. Solaita hit just 50 home runs for his career. But lucky for Solaita and unlucky for Foster - you have to hit them when it counts.
