Looks like the Haymakers are out for a repeat. Nice Win over a tough team.

That was a sad performance. Looks like Juggernaut pretty much sucks.

When I was beaten down in week one by the Undisputed Champs last year, I thought that I was in for another year of cellar-dwelling. I haven't lost since and after 6 straight beatings from Icetea have now got a three match streak against him. I think it's all about perfect timing of aging versus opponents' aging status. It could all reverse within a few matches for me. Hang in there, I suspect that we may see 5 champions over the next 5 seasons.

Congrats for the big win Chris. Chris and Dave have both made huge statements blowing out quality teams.

Looks like we're heading to another Icetea/Haymakers showdown for control of the Silver unless either the Assassins or the Undisputed Champions make a big jump this season.

My rookies struggled and freaking Cotto can't quit losing!
Humberto Rodriguez has already equaled Kenny Shea's win total from last year! Tiger Flowers is his b**** At least Limon and Pong got a win .. but Chacon 0-2 hurts Last edited by mh2365; 06-05-2007 at 06:25 AM. |

He just couldn't take the pressure Rodriguez was putting on him!
If Sal uses the same ref in every fight is it possible the guy has a quick trigger? |

Since the first season, I have used the same three judges and referee. Should we stick with them or use random? Should we vote each season on which judges and referee we use? I used random for every fight in the first UTBA season and it seemed to cause a lot of early stoppages and draws. May not be a problem now. |

No I'm fine with what we use .. make it even for every fight. I would prefer a lenient ref.

Wow!
Great match! Tough way to lose for the Nobodies.
From the early results, it looks like the league is getting closer ...

Looking at the epic pillow fight, as Dave put it, we just had it got me wondering what are the fewest combined KOs we've ever had in UTBA history?

My apologies to the league.
I really thought I could get week 1 done before I left on vacation. The chores I needed to get done around home before leaving turned into more than I thought. I'll see what I can get done tonight but it looks like the end of week 1 will come late Sunday or Monday afternoon when I get back. In the meantime while waiting on me..........enjoy the rookie draft. |
