My thinking is its more like OOTP 6.03 to 6.51; rather than 6.51 to OOTP2006.

I used the search to find the term "boring" which is the answer, and it found that post.

Some of the best games and most famous games have taken place on less than perfect fields, you only have to look at the NFL to know that, most famous NFL game Green Bay and Dallas, and I can't even think of the last time I saw two top teams play on a perfect pitch and put on a great game.

Best Wigan game last season by far was the game against Man Utd played on a wet dodgy pitch between two unmatched teams, best Wigan game I've ever seen was years ago against Torquay United on a field that looked like the farmer had ploughed it before kick off.

UKHS, the fan in my completely agrees with you. If I was a Man U fan though I would disagree. A poor pitch nuetralizes our advantages and increases the chances of Rooney getting hurt yet again.
