Second game starts at 7:05 PM. In pre-1935 unlighted stadiums it should probably be a 5:05 PM start (I believe that the regular scheduled DH's start at 5:05 PM). Various stadiums got lights through the years.

Note: It was pointed out to me that a couple of night games were played in the 1800's.

My apologies if this has been reported already.

When attempting to import a saved template and proceeding to generate a new historical random debut league, no one was showing up in the draft pool.

Without the imported template it works fine. It also worked fine the first time I created the template, but for some reason on reload to do another league no players showed up.

I am not sure if the following is a bug or just a weird coincidence or something I have missed in the settings. However, my retained scouting director and the OSA scouting overall ratings (the ones displayed with stars) are exactly the same for each and every player. The underlying ratings differ somewhat, but the number of stars always matches, even in the historical scouting reports.

I cannot start new custom games with the Steam release of OOTP16. I get as far as inputing my name. I put in my first name, tab to put in my last name, and then the Steam Overlay partially loads and the game freezes.

Player never coming off minor league rehab.

In manager mode, player sent to minor league rehab never came off rehab. Been stuck on one day remaining.

Happens in manager and GM modes as well.

If they say it's not a bug, just manually place him on active roster.

If you don't need the overlay, try disabling it for the game. I know this has caused some trouble for others.

You can try disabling the overlay while playing OOTP 16 - should fix your issue (I hope.) Open Steam and go to your Library - right click on OOTP 16, select properties, then in General tab unclick "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game".

I receive emails from players in the last year of their contract saying that they like playing here and would like to open discussions on an extension. However, when I click into that player to negotiate a contract, I get a message saying that the player does not want to play for my manager.

Seems like if the player isn't interested in an extension, then no email should be sent.

Similar to above, I get e-mails from players saying that they would like an extension but I am playing in an independent league where extensions are not allowed. They should understand this or at least mention re-signing in the offseason instead of wanting a contract extension.

Hey guys...love the game, but if i hire quality personnel, their reputation degrades over time? Anyone else having this issue?

I'm playing a random debut historical replay from 1871 with today's patch. I'm not really sure how the game decides who is eligible for the All Star ballot, but something seems fishy. In one instance the obvious choice in the NL at shortstop isn't eligible for my vote and his backup is in there instead. The starter hasn't been hurt all season and has started all but three games (26 of the 29). He also has the highest OPS, BA, and WAR among all SS in the league.

In another instance my starting RF isn't listed as eligible for voting and instead my third string RF is listed in his place. The guy isn't hurt, has started 25 of the 29 games and his third string replacement has only appeared in 8 games all season.

These were just two obvious examples. Didn't notice this issue until I saw that all of the SS eligible in the NL had less than 40 PA on the year except one so I did a little digging. Then when I got to RF I noticed my big FA splash in the offseason wasn't eligible for vote.

Has your team not done as well as he did in the past? I don't know exactly how the feature works but I would imagine if a guy has a reputation as a winner and comes in and starts losing that his reputation would be lost over time.

After the first patch the US independent league players are signed to one year contracts with no arbitration. But when you sign a player they play one year AND THEN a second year for free. This only applies to players you sign not players you start a game with.

Hey...thanks for the response. No, my team is winning the pennant, but for no apparent reason, staff members with Excellent or Legendary reputations go down, sometimes during the same offseason that they are hired (before they've managed a game). Any thoughts are appreciated.

The game is crashing when I try to load an online league. It happens when it says it is loading players.

Umm, I think whatever update came out over Steam broke my OOTP.

When I launch OOTP, the screen resolution goes haywire and OOTP doesn't open fully -- I'm stuck in windows with a super low res and the icons are huge. Sometimes OOTP opens but insists at being full screen at a low resolution. When I try to change it to windowed, the screen goes black and then it comes back exactly the same.

Exited and restarted OOTP, still full screen, same problems.

Here is a screen shot of the salary issue for the independent teams. The players that have a salary were players I've signed this offseason (first season) all the others are players that were already on the team. They will play out the season not getting paid and then move to FA after the season ends. Just looked and it's happening on every team including the MLB.

Some (most?) of the achievements don't actually describe what it is that was achieved. For example, I can only assume that the "Crossing the Plate" achievement is for scoring 4 runs in one game...I think? Or does it have to do with 2 HRs? Same with Slugger...2 Hrs appears to make sense there with the May 15th date. Is the Team Effort 6 runs in an inning, or is it 5 runs in an inning?
