In the interest of moving things along, the Beavers select BW Jimmy Carruthers.
Figured for sure either Berlenbach or Corrales would be there. Bummer. With the signing of Carruthers, the Beavers announce the release of veteran BW (8) Johnny Carter 16-18-6(2). Last edited by bigMatt; 11-03-2006 at 05:58 PM. |

Well...........looks like we have a stop in the action.
Tosti is up and it is coming up on the hour of 1 am in London. I sent him a couple of PMs but I see he hasn't logged on since 3 pm CST(almost 4 hours ago). If we wait, It'll be at least 4 to 6 hours before we hopefully hear from him. I have the next pick for: #15 Muckboys, #16 Barbarians, #19 The Nobodies, #21 Tile Hill Top Team and #22 Kangaroos. |

You could always pull the NFL draft rule! After the hour time limit anyone else can pick, he can make it up when he logs on, he has a couple of hours correct? Plus you had previously mentioned the draft rules, if he is aware of the rules I dont see it being a problem

I'm having some problems with my home PC and had to return to my office. My network connection began to act real dodgy and then went south in the middle of transfering some photo files.
I'll stay online hear for a while and work on a list of choices for my next pick just to be on the safe side. When I go back home I'll call comcast to see if they can fix things. The network at work shuts down at 10:00 PM CST and reopens at 7:30 AM. If need be I can come down and use my office PC but that would be a real drag. Bear |

We've waited so long for other less active folks, I certainly don't want to pull the trigger on Tom.
I vote to wait it out, though I don't have a horse in this race any longer so it is up to you who are waiting. Edit: The commish has moved on. Three hours was a fair window and I can't say that I disagree after the fiasco that we had last season.

The rules for the draft were posted before the start of this season and reposted before the draft officially started. I wasted my whole weekend last time with this draft and didn't want to do it again. I hate to pull the trigger on Tom also, but the rules were put in place to not make it such a drag on me. If he logs in at some point and time, I'll give him the next draft selection available. Last edited by SAL; 11-03-2006 at 08:31 PM. |

So who here hasn't made a trade with me? It's a bit of a blur from this end.

I'll stick around here and hope I can get my second round pick in before the network shuts down. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in my third rounder in before then. I'll send you a list to cover things in any event and include plans the two third rounders to be safe. Working on it now. Bear |

Sorry about that one. I'll have to ditch Saxton, who has a wining record to afford him.

Tomato City has yet to pull off a trade w/ anyone. Since I haven't seen any offers from the gentleman from Hebron, I guess he's not interested in any of the talent assembled in coastal region of Connecticut.

With the Muckboys and Barbarians coming up with a two hour window and you having their picks it looks like I'll be able to do my second rounder live. My options for round three will depend on who I get to grab here. Bear |
