Ah, yes. AHD. Still my all time favorite. I often think about re-booting this thing, especially now that OOTP X is out and would be able to accomplish the things I had to jump through hoops to make happen in 6.5. Haven't had the time yet.

As for the storyline, I had it mapped out, but nothing that could really be posted.

Fitting I had the last post in this thread. I am bringing it back, so some of the newer folks could see historical writing at its finest. I'd also love for Joe to see it, and either look at starting it anew, or give us the spoilers as to what was going to happen.

I'd love to do something like this for my regional league concept, but I'm not sure I have the time, nor the creativity, to pull something like this off.

Oh, man - now that is a blast from the past. AHD was a lot of fun, and I've spent a good chunk of my morning re-reading the early posts.

I would actually love to re-do it. I'm not sure I have the files any more (I had a HD crash a while back and lost most of my older OOTP stuff). I did have a Word doc where I had sketched out most of the 20th century but I'm pretty sure that's gone too, unfortunately.

Still love the concept and I will definitely think about doing something with it. Thanks for the reminder John!

Maybe this is the chance to reimagine it, Joe. You could use the Association setup in the game so that it's truly one world. I think it'd be a fantastic story, and you're the storyteller I'd want telling it.

I just spent about 6 hours reading through this entire thing and I have to say that this is one of the greatest dynasties I've ever read. The combination of history and baseball is perfect and the changes to history are well thought out and awesome. I hope people will read this through and become inspired to make and publish their own dynasties.
