Anyone watching the African wildlife webcam? I find it strangely addictive and I love the ambient noise.

There weren't any good out of contract Russians so didn't sign any free agents, off my head I started with around 290k transfer budget and signed about 4 players, sold a handful and still had a transfer budget of around 400k it helped that I sold a back up goalkeeper for over 1 million and brought in a goalkeeper just as good for around 150k.

I haven't, but I've just had a look and there is something in front of the camera. What it is I have no idea.

I still wish someone would setup a team in Oymyakon. Talk about a home-field advantage.

No idea but in pre season I've played 5 games and not conceded a goal the last two games were 7-0, 7-0 I've been playing a 4-1-3-2 formation, the backbone of the team are my central midfielders and my left and right backs.

Are there modweek matches in Russia? In England its ridiculous. Matches Jan 2,5,8 and 11.

I doubt the climate model (which isn't that good to start with) could cope with the temperatures.

No. Nor a real team. That's why it would be cool if someone setup one there.

Not looked at the fixture list to be honest, I've been playing friendlies about every 3 days. I do play a local derby in the first game of the season against Dinamo Moscow, not the main reason I chose Torpedo but the Russian league if your a Moscow team throws up loads of derby games.

That means you essentially need 2 full starting lineups. FM really screws up the stamina factor. If you choose fictional players, the game engine gives you a roster with avg stamina about 6 in the ECN/ECS

What I like to do after the first season is to play more friendlies and use a split squad type of set up specially if I've brought in a few signings, my main tactic in FM is to play a back four with a DM in front of them, it's essential you have a very good DM and a very good MC with decent left and right backs, I'm lucky with the Torpedo team as I have some good defenders and 3 good midfield players who can play the DM and MC positions.
