You got a good one in Dennis Ward, Tom. Let's hope that Chris' jinx with prospects don't hit him.

My second (of only three) goes in this coming draft. I hope he's as nice a prospect as your pop. I had in mind Joe Gordon when putting him together - power hitting 2B with spectacular defense, both the range but also the arm since Joe could turn two with anyone in that era. Of course that's what I had in my mind... who knows what voodoo OOTP6 and out Kind and Beloved Commish kick out.

Then again, Perly the Younger looks like the got Gordon's power and King Kong Keller's added in to boot. :P And the sonovah gun can hit for average, 2B and take a walk.. and has "good" range to boot. Those darn Perly boys got good genes.

I'm crossing my fingers that he's a good enough prospect to be drafted *before* the Reds #8 pick so he can avoid the dreaded Reds Jinx. :P
