"Charlie Jones is currently the only former major league player to have died in Two Harbors, Minnesota." This is the extent of his bio on the bRef bullpen. So, that's all I got. The "currently" does sound a bit ominous though.
Forgot to screenshot his before but you have it up above in the team pic. Anyway, here's Charlie C Jones... |

He wasn't on your Tigers list but I couldn't take the fictional Jack Burns. So here's a new one for 15-game veteran, Jack J Burns...

For Mike Smith, I had one I had done previously. Also, this is the former LF Mike Smith from 1886 (not 1896) to 1901. I think you had a typo on his debut year. So, anyway, here's Mike E Smith...

Here's John Skopec. You can see where the old one went wrong using the unaltered brown picture as a starting point...

Charlie Krause played at least seven seasons in the minors and came to the big leagues for one game on July 27, 1901. He was 27 years old at the time and went 1-for-4 for the Cincinnati Reds under manager Bid McPhee. Charlie played second base, where the Reds used five different players in at least 15 games that year. He defaulted to a catcher on my 1901 import though instead of 2B, so clearly the database has very little info on Charlie.
There is also no bRef picture or any team picture anywhere of Charlie. No 1948 obit that I could find either. He's a ghost. Because of that, I do not trust that the image that is in the default facegen pack is, in fact, him. That aside, I did color it so whomever this image is of, they look healthier. So, use at your own risk - this may be an imposter face and an OOTP case of stolen identity... EDIT: I have confirmed this is a fake facegen that is in one of the packs being passed around. Not sure where it comes from, that is, if it ships with the game or is downloadable. But it is a fake. Leaving this up so people can see it and be made aware as many come here looking for missing or improved facegens... Last edited by LansdowneSt; 07-08-2021 at 12:46 AM. Reason: Removed facegen as it is a fake put on many people in one of the packs out there |

John Butler also played under the name "Frederick King" in 1901 per his wikipedia page. As a .134 career hitter, I can see the advantage of showing up to a new team and saying "Nah, me? John Butler? Never heard of him - he's terrible... I'm Frederick King. Where can I suit up? And don't call me 'Fred'. By the way, all payments are cash, right?"...
Same picture that was there, just cleaned up... |

Lew Post has been a missing picture forever but I checked the boards and, literally, last month he was found. Here is the link:
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...ns#post4796608 The Lew Post that was in luckymann's facegen pack is the same as he had for Charlie Krause. Same fake one. While the photo that was found of Lou was only able to give me the basic facial structure, I used it and put a texture pack over it. I don't know if Lew's mother would recognize him - as someone that only played three games in the bigs, not a lot of fans would either. But the result that I got is what I'm going to use for him. It's the best we can do 120 years after the fact. Thanks to Chickalooza for finding this photo. |

The highest compliment I can give here is that your superb work does proper justice to Silvam's amazing uniforms. Excellent thanks so much!
Does this format of updating work for you as we roll forward bud?

Here's Ed Walker of your Beaneaters and the real life Naps...
Yup, this works. The hardest thing is not redoing all of them when I see the full line-up. I can get picky ;P At some point, I'll just post all my ones from the past year-and-a-half in a .zip on a website and folks can sort those non-requested ones at their leisure. For now, I'm too busy doing the requested ones, playing the game, earning a living, and taking care of the family But I'll do it soon enough. Thanks, they are great uniforms from great contributors that are part of a great on-line community. But I should mix up the uniforms, I reckon, so they can show off some other duds as I post... |

Benny Bowcock. Same picture colorized and elongated the face a little. Looked enough like the photos I found to work with what was there. Benny played 14 MLB games. All on the road, so he never got to wear the uniform he is featured in - the 1903 St. Louis Browns home whites...

"The Toledo management announced yesterday that Ernie Diehl, the amateur ball player, Cincinnati councilman and all-round sportsman, had consented to join the team in Indianapolis tomorrow. Diehl, who is too wealthy to adopt baseball as a profession, has helped out the Pittsburg [sic] club on a number of occasions, always refusing to accept a cent for his services, and promised that if Pres. Dreyfus [sic] ever needed him he would respond at once. It is this promise upon which Mr Dreyfus now depends." - Boston Globe, September 1, 1907
The one I had in my files, was maybe from the older photo via findagrave. The boards had a copy of a younger version of him in uniform that I used to redo him. I did end up overlaying a texture pack to cleanup the shadows and colorized it. I also smoothed over the puckered lips. He ended up a bit between the two available pics. Anyway here's man of leisure, Ernie Diehl... |

I see the older picture of Malachi Kittridge that was used for the existing facegen and instead opted for the Google Image of his 1903 W600 Sporting Life Cabinets Card (graded Excellent-Mint) that sold for $1,200. Was that a good price? I dunno but in 1898 Malachi's contract was purchased by the Louisville Colonels from the Chicago Orphans for just $750. Sure, inflation, but still... Anyway, here's child of the corn, Malachi Kittridge...

Your Bill Phyle seemed to be suffering from the narrow head syndrome that affected early ballplayers, luckymann, but I don't have that facegen file, so I just made a new one. Here's Bill Phyle in 1901 NY Giants garb...
Hope all had a great Independence Day. I'll knock out some more tomorrow... |
