Opening day rosters, it looks like Osuna and Castro are in AA for the Jays rather than in the bullpen like in real life. Is this an error? Or is it the AI?

I tried my hardest man to get those 2 on the OD roster. Look how highly rated they currently are and for whatever reason I could not get them on the big league roster. It was very upsetting.

He keeps making the Opening Day roster.

In fact, with the new Opening Day patch, he is still listed as making the team, with SP Sean Gilmartin in AAA when he should be on the major league roster.

Not sure of the contractual situation that gives Allen no minor league options, but just throwing this out there.

Yep, I noticed that too. Problem is the AI will not take the extra P the Mets have. They will only hold 12 pitchers generally. Rarely have I ever seen them take more. So they take the next best offensive player that makes sense for them.

Believe me, if the worst I have to deal with is going into this guy with the editor and changing his minors options, moving him manually to Las Vegas....you won't catch me crying.

Next up, unless something glaring with the OD rosters arises, is minor leagues.

Teams have until noon Thursday to set their OD minor league rosters. A lot of teams are releasing them or, some releasing preliminary rosters for now. I am keeping track of all changes now because I didn't want to start trying to do milb changes for 120 teams on Thursday. With the work I have done to this point keeping things up to date, I should be done setting all of them by Friday morning. Then will make some minor tweaks to players promoted and finally be done.

You can play with them now. Heck, over 400 minor leaguers were released, signed, etc. between the last update and today's and a lot more edited and assigned to their correct levels. So they should look a lot better than they did.

As the other guys on the roster team will tell you, I am just anal retentive and I gotta have my minor leagues set.

Also, work will not stop on the Indy and International leagues as well, if those leagues matter to you. I update the Indy league rosters daily and I will have fully functioning rosters for them later this month when they begin play. But, know for now that all the players on the Indy league rosters are all up to date and actual players on their real rosters.

Does this mean there will be another patch/roster update forthcoming after MiLB rosters are released?

Yep. By the time a new patch/update is released. All the minor league roster assignments will have been done.

Great! Any idea when that will be? I want to hold off on starting any games until there are MLB and MiLB rosters that are current to 4/5 or 4/9.

There are a slew of personnell "out of position" ... mostly General Managers/Scouting directors marked as Managers. This causes problems when they get hired as managers.
