I found using google earth for these minor league parks works quite well as a substitute for diagrams to work from. Especially with the elevations of the stands

I'm just amazed how fast you can crank them out. How much time does it take you now, from start to finish?

It's just weird because all of the other parks work. I even tried removing the comiskey park folder and reinstalling it with no success.
I have his Comiskey park in 2 leagues. Loaded fine. Hopefully Silvam can help you.

Honestly, I have no idea. It sounds like something that tech support might know. I'm just a user when it comes to loading up he stadiums

I don't know. Probably still longer than I (and my wife) would like. Still probably several hours per I'm sure

I'm currently spending time updating my fictional parks. When I'm done. I'll upload them all in a zip with the sketch up files included.

Just kind of fixing textures. Adding scoreboards and such.

After that I was thinking of doing a small tutorial for how to ad scoreboards and advertisements to the models. This might be useful for those who might want to add little details here or there to any of my stadiums with sketch up.

Speaking of your fictional parks, do you know if they can be renamed? I mean would you have to rename ALL the files within the folder if your were going to rename it as something other than fictional1, fictional2, fictional3 etc?

I use them in my fantasy league and would like to rename them to the name of the park my fantasy teams play in. Like Knights Stadium or Brown Bears Park. Thanks.

I'm not sure to be honest. You can obviously rename the stadium in OOTP once you import it.

I agree, the naming convention isn't ideal, but neither would it be if I named a stadium some arbitrary name.

All you have to do is rename the folder to the name you want, e.g. Fictional1 to Penway_Fark, then pick it up in the game. If you want, you can open the that folder and rename all the files also, but I don't see much point in doing that as regardless of what you name the park it will show in game play as the originally made by Silvam.

Thank you. That's what I was wondering. If it was a necessity to rename all the files or not. Makes it much easier to just rename the folder. Thanks, again.

No problem, just enjoy Silvam's ball parks. There are great!

1985 Busch is not working for me either... I noticed that the folders inside the "Busch Stadium 1985" folder were spelled incorrectly (Bush...not Busch) and so I renamed all of the folders to "Busch....." Went into a game and now the screen was black where the stadium was supposed to be but I could see the players...???

Attention Silva....

I think I figured out what is causing my issues with Comiskey Park and Busch Stadium 85.

The folders/files are not uniformed (named the same)...
For example;
- In the Comiskey Park folder, some files are labeled "Comiskey" and others are named "Comiskey Park" and "Old Comiskey Park"

- In the Busch Stadium 1985 folder, some of the files are spelled with only the first Name "Busch" and/or are misspelled "Bush".

When I rename the files/folders myself, the stadiums are blacked out in the game screen (although I can see the correct stadium outline). That is probably happening because I do not have the program that you are using to build these fantastic stadium renditions. I tried this with stadiums that are working... when I change the main folder name, I can match the new name in the team/stadium settings and the stadium will show up in game. However, if I change anything inside the folder, the stadiums are blacked out in game.

So... just to humor me, would you please go and rename all of your files in the Comiskey Park and Busch Stadium 1985 folders to match one another, and then resubmit to your Stadiums thread? (i.e. you can name ALL of the files in the folders Comiskey Park/Busch Stadium 1985 respectively)

Thanks Silva... these stadiums have really brought this game to life for me!!!

When you renamed the files/folders (I assumed you renamed the textures folder as well) did you go back into the park editor and re-select the photos and 3D model? It is probably black because the park configured in your league is still pointing to the old names. I will go back and fix the issue thigh from my end

This is why I was concerned about renaming the files inside the parks main folder. I would think if you renamed everything, the folder and all the files inside the folder, you most certainly would have to re-load that park again. I haven't tried this. That's why I was asking in advance to see if anyone knew for sure. I'll have to check it out.

I looked at those folders and they show what you say and they show up fine in the game. It should to me like you have some corrupted files. Do you use any other Silvam parks and do they work okay? I was thinking some more about this and was wondering how, exactly, did you but the Comisky_park folder in the Models folder.

I have nearly all of Silvam's parks and these two (Comiskey and Busch 1985) are the only ones that are not working.

And thank you all for the responses!!!

Okay, when I go into the 3-D Model in team settings to look at the 3-D park model for Comiskey and Busch 85, the game crashes... I am able to view all of the other teams ballparks though...

Did you go to the pictures tab and re select the home/away/diagram and 3D model locations?
