Ok spooky or what, I work in town Wigan to be exact just around the corner from Wigan Athletics ground <<< keeping on topic
anyways Wigan is about 5 miles from where I live so you get the basic idea of the geography.Well I work in an office at night doing rotas wages and stuff and my desk is near the window so I can see out onto the road, anyways about 6:45 every morning this really beautiful lady walks past and as done for say the past 8 months anyway the last few weeks with seeing each other so often we've began to smile and acknowledge each other. So anyways I'm on holiday this week so wont be seeing her this week or should I say so I thought, well I can tell you that it spooked me this morning when at 7:30 I went to the store for some milk and who should be 20 feet away from my front door but this beautiful lady, I kid you not even to the length that I swear on my nephews life. Turns out she works at the factory just down the road from me and her names Kelly, I mean what are the odds of two people who live 5 miles apart from each other who in a way say hello to each other every morning during the week actually working just yards away from where the other lives. Been announced that Randy Lerner as bought Aston Villa, if I was an Aston Villa fan I'd be really excited with the prospect of Lerner's money and Martin O'Neill's managment.
They could also in a couple of years be a real challenger to the dominance of Chelsea or at least of breaking into the group of four that are Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...la/4789693.stm |

I can't believe the number of people I've heard that have been totally fooled by this - Ellis is not going anywhere! Deadly Doug's been there 30 years, and he'll be there for another 30. He's not going to sell the club, he'll say in a couple of days he's had a "change of heart" or something. ![]() I mean it's not as if he spends any money, so even if he dies his ghost can take over and no-one would notice any difference.

<<< shakes head no, no, no, no being a Wigan fan it would be like a Red Sox fan going to a Yankee's game and enjoying it unless that is the Red Sox were playing against the Yankee's and teaching them a sporting lesson. Blackburn were only one of 3 teams in the league last season that Wigan were totally outplayed when Blackburn beat them 3-0 at Wigan, only team to outplay them at home other two were away games when Liverpool beat them 3-0 and Man Utd beat them 4-0. |

Report on the BBC website on which manager could get the sack first this season, report was done by Saj Chowdhury who proves he knows nothing about football.
He as Paul Jewell as favourite to get the sack, only way Jewell will leave Wigan is to go to another job only way I see him getting the sack is by going 0-15. Favourite to get the sack imo is Chris Coleman at Fulham, honestly can't see there being many changes this season as there's 4 managers who have just joined their team and usually managers have at least a season before their sacked. Can't see any of the big four being sacked unless they have really bad seasons and can't see that happening, 3 of the managers have brought their teams up from the Champioship so can't see any of those being sacked. Other's will get another season imo no matter what happens ie Pardew at West Ham and jewell at Wigan, only two I see getting the sack this season are Coleman and Moyles at Everton. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...em/5237596.stm My ratings would be. Arsene Wenger, Arsenal 2/10 Martin O'Neill, Aston Villa 1/10 Mark Hughes, Blackburn Rovers 3/10 Sam Allardyce, Bolton Wanderers 3/10 Ian Dowie, Charlto Athletic 2/10 Jose Mourinho, Chelsea 2/10 David Moyles, Everton 7/10 Chris Coleman, Fulham 8/10 Rafael Benitez, Liverpool 2/10 Stuart Pearce, Man City 4/10 Alex Ferguson, Man Utd 1/10 Gareth Southgate, Middlesborough 4/10 Glenn Roeder, Newcastle Utd 4/10 Harry Redknapp, Portsmouth 3/10 Steve Coppell, Reading 2/10 Neil Warnock, Sheff Utd 2/10 Martin Jol, Tottenham Hotspurs 2/10 Aidy Boothroyd, Watford 2/10 Alan Pardew, West Ham 2/10 Paul Jewell, Wigan Athletic 2/10 |
