Then why not go the first three games at the lower seed's park, and then the remaining games at the higher seed's park, if you want to force the lower seed to win on the road. A 2-5 split is probably too much of an advantage for the higher seed, I think. One extra potential home game is enough of an advantage for the higher-seeded team to have in a series with an odd number of games for it, it seems to me.

Besides, certain teams may need the money more games at home could bring them, you know, jg2977. But it's your game, so play it as you like, then, of course.

As far as the remaining players we might plan to create for your IPA in the next few seasons, before Carl appears, what teams are they likely eligible to play on here at this point? We can't start any rival on the same team or teams as any Freemans, of course, by the conditions that I've set here, you know. What teams might Ralph Clairborne be eligible for circa the 1981 or 1982 seasons here, at this point, jg2977? Please advise. Thank you. CD out.

Just to refresh your memory here, of the potential schedule we might use to create the other players you may approve for playing in your IPA, here is what I figure it likely would be here for them, at the very least, jg2977.

1981: Ralph Clairborne, if not 1982 (Rival of Freemans, can not start on Glasco, but can start on any eligible team that doesn't have a relevant Freeman on it, including a team with another rival of the Freemans on it)

1983: Andrew Freeman, if not 1982. (Not a direct descendant of either GC or AG, so not restricted to starting on Glasco, but can start on any other eligible team. Ineligible teams are those not using any of my items or any team a Freeman rival is on, of course)

1984: Carl Freeman (Direct descendant of AG, so must start on Glasco), Orville Freeman (Not direct descendant of either GC or AG, so like Andrew above, can start on any eligible team, including Glasco), Wulfric Holmes (See note for Ralph Clairborne above, but might not be a bad idea to put him on Calemund's team, I think. Perhaps all the Holmes brothers could be on the same team at the same time, or at least most of the possible time during Calemund's playing career?)

1985: Kirk Freeman (Not a direct descendant of either GC or AG, so like Andrew and Orville, can start on any eligible team that doesn't have a Freeman rival on it, including Glasco, but he doesn't absolutely have to start on Glasco, if you don't want him to. He is Andrew's brother, so you might want to take that into account here, I think.), Botulf Holmes (See note above for Wulfric Holmes)

1992: Rufus Freeman (Orville's brother, not restricted to starting on Glasco, but Glasco is an eligible team for him to start on. However, it might still be quite nice to have him start wherever Orville is playing at that time in his career, I think.)

1993: Turstan Holmes (See notes regarding the other Holmes brothers and/or Ralph Clairborne, please), me (A hypothetical version of me, with my real name, birthdate, and age, et cetera), if not 1997. I finished high school in 1992, so the earliest I could probably play here in your IPA would probably be 1993.

I never was able to really attend college for various reasons, if at all, after finishing high school, in truth. But if you want to have me start in your IPA after a hypothetical college period of up to four years, then perhaps we can bump my starting year up to when I'd be in my early twenties or so in your IPA, jg2977. I'm thinking Denton City would perhaps be a good team for me to be assigned to, if you included a version of me with my real birthdate and name and all in your IPA, somehow. Supposing, of course, that you were actually using items I've made for Denton City's Redbirds by then, that is.

LandsdowneSt made a couple of FaceGens for me based on two posted pictures of me at two different times in my life roughly 25 or so years apart. IF you decide to include me in your IPA in the 1990s, right out of high school, then you can use the younger face for me when it comes to creating me as a potential rookie in the 1993 season, at least. Just so you know, jg2977. Thank you again for letting all these players I've proposed play in your IPA. I can't wait to see how each new Freeman and each new Freeman rival played this year, along with GC and AG, of course.

I’ve done the 2-5 setup for playoff series in other leagues in the past, and the lower seed won more often than you’d think. Home field is not as much of an advantage anymore in the postseason.

Consider that the last time that a team clinched the World Series at home was the 2013 Red Sox. And the Giants of 2010, 2012 and 2014 celebrated their championships as the visiting team.

How about the 2019 World Series where the away team won every game?
