I had forgotten that he was a 4. Not quite as good but he sure does fight above his head.

Season 4: ROY - Gold Conference
Candidate #1:
Heavyweight - Eddie Machen (The Dublin Guards) Season 4 Record: 11-9-0 (7) Eddie Machen was drafted by the Bonner Springs Bald Beavers with the 20th pick of the 3rd Round (#60-last pick Overall). "Mr. Irrelevant" was then traded over to The Dublin Guards in exchange for BW Chan-Wong Park. It clearly looks like the Guards got the better of that deal. Machen did not have any Title Shots in his rookie season. Unfortunately, Eddie Machen did no qualify for the HW EOY Tournament. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 4: ROY - Gold Conference
Candidate #2:
Heavyweight - Ingemar Johansson (Stockholm's Finest) Season 4 Record: 11-9-0 (10) Ingemar Johansson was a very popular hometown selection for the inaugural season of the expansion team know as Stockholm's Finest. In fact he is the first of 2 ROY candidates representing the team. Ingo had a successful rookie campaign in which he earned a spot in the EOY Tournament, but he did have a bit of trouble against some of the "big bangers" of the division. He did not have a chance to fight for the HW Title during the regular season. Ingemar Johansson heads into the HW EOY Tournament as the #13 Seed. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 4: ROY - Gold Conference
Candidate #3:
Flyweight - Yuri Arbachakov (Stockholm's Finest) Season 4 Record: 11-9-0 (10) Rookie Yuri Arbachakov may not be a fair-haired local boy, but Stockholm's Finest added him to their first-year roster and now can claim to be a Former FLY Champion. He won the title in only his 7th pro bout. After only 1 successful defense, he ran into FLY kingpin Vic Darchinyan and lost his title. A rematch later in the season also resulted in a loss. Although he started the season strong, losing 4 of his last 6 (3 by KO/TKO) down the stretch cost Arbachakov a spot in the EOY Tournament. Unfortunately, Yuri Arbachakov did not qualify for the FLY EOY Tournament. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 4: ROY - Gold Conference
Candidate #4:
Featherweight - Celestino Caballero (Bonner Springs Bald Beavers) Season 4 Record: 12-8-0 (6) Celestino Caballero was selected as the #11 pick of the 1st Round (#31 overall) by the Bonner Springs Bald Beavers. Don't let the fact that he only won half of his bouts by KO/TKO fool you, this guy hits hard and his fights will be entertaining. After a slow 4-6-0 (1) first half of the season, Celestino turned it on to finish the second half of the season 8-2-0 (5). Even though he did not qualify for the EOY Tournament or fight for the Title this season, the FW divison should watch out for him. Unfortunately, Celestino Caballero did not qualify for the FW EOY Tournament. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 4: ROY - Gold Conference
Candidate #5:
Heavyweight - Young Stribling (Tomato City) Season 4 Record: 12-8-0 (4) Young Stribling was selected as the overall #4 pick in the draft by Tomato City to fill the void left by the traded George Chuvalo after the end of Season 3. Stribling showed that he has a good chin (only stopped twice in his 8 losses), but he did struggle against the other HW rookies in the Gold Conference - finishing 1-3-0 (0). He did not have any Title shots in his rookie season. Unfortunately, Young Stribling did not qualify for the HW EOY Tournament. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 4: ROY - Gold Conference
Candidate #6:
Flyweight - Benny Lynch (Tomato City) Season 4 Record: 13-7-0 (9) 2DQ Benny Lynch was drafted with the #13 pick of the 1st Round by Tomato City to beef up its historically weak FLY divison. He collected 13 victories this season which lead all rookies in the Gold Conference. This could have been even better if not for the 2 disqualification losses he suffered against lower opposition. Hopefully he will clean up his act in his sophmore campaign. Lynch did not have the opportunity to fight for the FLY Title in the regular season. Benny Lynch heads into FLY EOY Tournament as the #15 Seed. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 4: ROY - Silver Conference
Candidate #1:
Welterweight - Billy Graham (Oakland Assassins) Season 4 Record: 11-3-6 (1) Drafted in the 1st Round as the #6 overall pick by the Oakland Assassins, Billy Graham finished the season with the fewest number of losses (3) than any other rookie in the entire League this season. Only 1 of his 20 regular season bouts did not go the full 12-rounds, and the one that did was a TKO victory for Graham in the 11th round. That's an amazing 239 out of a possible 240 rounds. This guy sure has some good stamina. Graham did not get a chance to fight for the WW Title this season. Unfortunately, Billy Graham did no qualify for the WW EOY Tournament. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 4: ROY - Silver Conference
Candidate #2:
Bantamweight - Benny Goldberg (420th Street Gym) Season 4 Record: 12-4-4 (3) 1DQ Selected by the expansion 420th Street Gym for its inaugural season, Benny Goldberg ended up as only 1 of 3 team members to finish with a winning record. He led the team in wins and individual Points Scored. Goldberg finished the last 4 weeks of the season undefeated with a 7-0-1 (1) record. No title shots for him, but he was the only member of the 420th Street Gym to qualify for the EOY Tournament. Benny Goldberg heads into the BW EOY Tournament as the #7 Seed. SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:
