Charles moves into the near corner.
Charles takes a hard combination right on the button and he’s down!
The count begins ...
At 9, Charles barely beats the count, but he appears to be hurt badly!
Referee Burke is allowing the fight to go on as he motions the fighters together.
Marciano stuns Charles. Marciano has exceptional killer instinct and is going to work now to try and finish him!
OH! Rocky Marciano landed the big hook flush!
Marciano connects with a violent combination!
Charles was staggered again by those punches!

Mildenberger looks a bit disgusted as Round 5 gets underway.
Patterson scores with a hook to the body but he misses when he tries to double up with it.
Mildenberger is just missing by a hair with his punches.
Patterson lands the right hand. He's pretty effective with that punch when he sets it up right.
A brutal combination from Patterson connects to the solar plexus!
Patterson connects with a solid jab!
The action heats up as both men trade punches.
Patterson lets his hands go and lands some solid punches.
What looked like some minor puffiness has grown into noticeable swelling around Mildenberger's left eye.
Wow! That shot landed like a lightning bolt! Mildenberger is down on his back!

Round 9 Commentary

Round 9 gets underway as the fighters move to the middle of the ring.
The swelling on the face of Page is noticeable, even at a distance.
Moore pins Page's arms! The fighters are tied up ...
Referee Podgorski has to separate the two ...
Page tries to get the hook into the ribs, but Moore blocks it.
Moore snakes the jab through Page's gloves. He had some snap on that one.
And now it appears as if Page's cut has been reopened by the jab that just landed.
The blood is, once again, trickling down his face.
It's definitely bothering him if the amount of blinking he's doing is any indication.
And it looks like . . . yes . . . Referee Podgorski is notifying the timekeeper to stop the clock.
He wants the doctor at ringside to look at Page's facial wound. It looks like it is over the right eye.
He guides Page to the corner, motioning for the ring doctor. The ring doctor is examining the cut ...
Page's corner is pleading its case with Podgorski. No! Podgorski waves it off. The fight is over!
The doctor is not going to let it continue. The winner by TKO is Archie Moore!

That hook from Moorer lands with some authority!
Moorer tries to drop the right hand over the top but Norton ducks under it.
Oh Wow! Michael Moorer hits the deck after a huge combination by Norton and he looks hurt.
Referee Garry motions Norton to a neutral corner and starts the count ...
Moorer is making a gallant try to get off the canvas as the count reaches 10.

Here come the fighters to ring center to begin Round 10 ...
Angelo Dundee was really animated in Ali's corner and Ali was nodding in agreement.
Cooper's corner didn't ignore the swelling he's suffered so far in this bout.
Ali is on his bicycle, moving from corner to corner forcing Cooper to chase him.
Cooper muscles his way inside.
Cooper glances a hook off Ali's side.
Ali lands a crushing cross!
Cooper is hurt and he had better reach deep if he's going to continue!
OH! A beautiful combination to the chin sends Cooper to the canvas!
Ali is ushered to a neutral corner by Referee Griffin and the count begins ...
Cooper hasn’t moved as the count hits 6 & he is badly hurt.

Round 8 Commentary

Biggs looks to be in good shape as Round 8 gets underway.
If the swelling was lessened by Coetzee's corner, it wasn't reduced enough to make a big difference.
Both fighters miss, now Biggs follows up with a solid hook to the body of Coetzee!
Coetzee unleashes a fusillade of punches to Biggs's head.
Coetzee telegraphed that shot and Tyrell Biggs ducks under it easily.
Biggs lands a powerful combination to Coetzee's temple knocking him off balance and he goes down!!!.
Referee Lobo moves into position over Coetzee and begins the count …
At 4, Coetzee appears to be ok as he regains his feet as the referee gives him the mandatory standing 8 count.
Lobo checks Coetzee closely and will allow the fight to continue.
Tyrell Biggs feints downstairs, then lands an uppercut under Coetzee's chin.
Biggs lands several quick blows, not much behind them, but they still count in the judge’s eyes.
Coetzee absorbs a wicked cross to the head. He's staggering backwards and now he goes down in a heap.
Lobo starts the count ...
At 7, Coetzee is in bad shape as he tries to regain his feet.

That's it! Coetzee can't beat the count. Biggs wins this fight with a knockout.
